    When i saw this on tv i was surprised, it was on a recommendation from a syfy fan which i really am NOT !!! BUT from very first episode i was hooked and so was EVERYONE i recommended show to. I KNEW THE SECOND THIS CAME OUT ON DISC I HAD TO HAVE & OWN IT. I watched it as soon as it was delivered in 2 days !!!! I love this series the lead guy is not exactly what i care for as a leading man, as matter of fact i did not even recognize him from other movies, but he is so FANTASTIC IN THIS ROLE NO ONE COULD REPLACE HIM. I also love watching the kids ( more names i did not know ) and the leading lady i would call her ( the nurse ) she really has such a great range and depth. Her best friend is character i was not really sure about liking , but se us so funny, like those who are NOT TRYING TO BE FUNNY funny. Buy it or even try it on demand. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 2. Linda Hamilton is surprising as a villian.

    Very funny and dramatic show! I was surprised to find the show had some drama and heart. It is primarily a sci fi comedy and a very good one. All the characters are great with fantastic acting.

    Funny series. Can't wait for season 2. The guy playing the alien is very funny, and the interactions between the mayor's son and him had me LOL!!!

    the humor in this series is amazing. the lead actor does a gut busting great impression of an alien. the entire cast adds to the insanity of this show.
