Not only is it steel. It’s also beautiful design with the zombies

Got this separately for some reason a week later, but it is a nice steelbook, I like the design inside and out. My only complaint would be that best buy put a UPC sticker on the actual case (instead of shrink wrapping it) so now I have glue and bits of sticker on the back corner. Didnt lose any stars becasue this is best Buy's fault, not Capcoms

Subtle yet effective artwork makes this a great addition to a collection. Biggest negative was the multiple scratches when I picked it up.

I've always liked the hard cover cases and this was just icing on an already solid purchase. Its nothing crazy but sometimes its the little things that matter when it comes to a purchase. This may be the difference between going to purchase from one store to another. It was for me.

It's a good quality piece that adds a little flair to any physical game collection. Is it necessary? no. But it looks good.

I was actually surprised to receive this steelbook case with my copy of RE2 at Best Buy, I didn't know it was a preorder bonus. But as long as they keep giving away steelbooks with RE games, I guess I'm gonna keep preordering them here. lol

So the game already comes with a case. The steel book is apart from that, so I have what looks like 2 copies of resident evil setting on my shelf. It's cool looking, great design, feels good, and is definitely not regretted, but it definitely is not necessary.

Fairly simple in design and almost an homage to the first zombie you encounter in the original Resident Evil. Good print design, not a full image covering the front and back unfortunately. There's a stylized umbrella logo on the back of the steelbook. My copy didn't come shrinkwrapped, it had a large UPC sticker on the back. Overally quality is good and worth owning if you're a fan of the game or series in general.

The steelbook for Resident Evil 2 looks great and the inside cover art is of the opening menu scene showing Raccoon City in the evening with the rain drizzling. It's a great looking case and a nice collectible for fans of the series.

The steel book is nice but just like any other steel book case you’d get for a game.But it is a must have if you’re a big resident evil fan and collector since this one is specifically designed for it.$10 is fair.

For a free item that was included as a bonus with the game, this is a great product. The steel book is particularly appealing because it is simply and spooky. A great collector's item if found at an inexpensive price.

This steelbook is one of the coolest ones I own, The front cover is from the first zombie encounter you face while the backside has the umbrella logo. My favorite part is the inside that has Raccoon city in flames.

Everyone loves something new for their collection and this Resident Evil steelbook case makes an awesome addition. It will be a shame if XBox decides to go strictly digital because of great collector items as this

I love this remake! The game has me on the edge of my seat! The updated graphics make the game more intense than the original. I love Resident evil 2, both versions. You will not regret playing this one again!!!!

I was pleased to learn that I was getting the STEELBOOK case with my preorder. The design is amazing, and they didn't just over load it with needless art. I enjoy the simple yet effective look they decided on.

So I actually ended up cancelling my preorder through amazon because Best Buy had this offer where you get the steelbook with the game. I'm a sucker for steelbooks and it's a great addition to my collection!

This resident evil 2 remake steelbook is so awesome with the zombie cover on the front friend and the umbrella logo on the back side. It’s the perfect steelbook for any resident evil fan
