Glad the classic is back. The graphics are good and very fun

Re2 delivers on all its promises. It adopts the re4 over the shoulder camera and reimagines all the original games classic areas. The gameplay is smooth, challenging, and scary as h@#ll! Not to mention it looks absoultely gorgeous. This is a must buy for all resident evil fans or any gamer in general. Has multiple paths with different characters which adds to the replay value. A must buy!!!

My personal 2019 GOTY as of this review. This game has set a new benchmark for the quality of what a remake should be. The game is a complete rebuild from story elements to the engine but manages to keep the feel and charm of the original. The campaigns are short but there is a good amount of replayability here. If you are even the slightest bit interested id say give a try.

I played the demo and loved it and this game is even more! I had tried to play the RE games in the past and would hit a roadblock with the controls. After playing this demo I forced my way through the first one just so I could get to this one. I love it!! Very atmospheric and just enjoyable while you try to survive and solve puzzles! Highly recommended!

I remember playing the original resident evil games starting on PlayStation one. This was an awesome remastered version of the second game of the resident evil franchise. Beautifully redone and just as chillingly creepy as I remember the original to be. Definitely worth the money especially if you can get it on sale now.

This is a great game reboot. Creepy zombie hordes, limited ammo supplies, and some monsters you just need to run from as fast as you can. I was happy to be able to play this updated game from yesteryear. There are two main characters that are playable, and I definitely suggest playing them both. There is some overlap, but enough differences that they are both great experiences.

Among one of the best remakes I've ever seen! Completely rebuilt from the ground up. The graphics are obviously better. The acting is SO much better (honestly, a high school drama club could have done a better job than the actors in the original) and the story is more refined. HIGHLY recommend giving this a shot. It's got a good number of jump scares for those who love 'em, too.

I've been gaming since a young age and I've played through the original RE2 back when I was ten years old. Oh I remember getting the game from my dad right after school and popping the disc in. Anyway, this remake of the original classic nails everything I remembered from the first one. The horror and dread of walking through the RPD police station. Also amped up is the terror of Mr. X, the tyrant that stalks you throughout your escape. Sometimes just thinking about him makes you plan out an escape route in my head before starting the game. Claire and Leon look fantastic in this game. I love the models they chose for them. Looks great on my PS4 Pro at 1080p. Replay ability is great. I am already on my 4th play-through. If you have played the original, like Resident Evil, or just enjoy scary games in general, don't miss this one.

Awesome remake. I would recommend to any beginner or experienced player.

Very addicting. I expected to play this once like most single player games but this thing really hooked me. I have played this 5 times through at the moment. It takes about 4-5 hours to beat the first go around and then goes down from there but the replay value is really nice. Glad I picked this up.

This game looks GORGEOUS. It's only benefited from making the jump to Resident Evil 4 camera controls. It offers a tight atmosphere and everything is covered in that post processed layer of "wet" where everything looks like it gets sponged down between takes. If you are a veteran this is a must play and if you're new to the series what are you waiting for?

remake of the classic and then some for the PS4...

I loved the original version of this game and didn’t understand why I would want to play it again. But they have created a game that has just the right mix of nostalgia with new features and it is awesome. And the 2nd run does and awesome job of changing everything you expect from the 1st run. This is how you make a video game.

Resident Evil 2 has, and always will be my favorite game in the franchise. To have so much love and effort put into bringing it into the current gen of consoles was a good move on Capcom's part. The controls are tight, graphics are stellar, and just enough has been changed to make it feel like a new experience since the original release 20 years ago.

Resident Evil 2 is a complete remaster of the original from 1998. Added features and gameplay modes and tones of things to unlock by beating it. The game is short but with multiple variations of the campaigns which don't differ much but still add good replay value. A must buy for any fan of action or zombie games.

This is the most impressive remake I've ever played. It captures the look and feel of the original game in incredible detail. But it doesn't play quite like the original. The layout and story are very similar but the gameplay has been refined with 3rd person controls other modern game mechanics. This might just be my favorite game in the series.

If you never played one of the original RE games, this is a great way to jump in. Amazing graphics, characters, atmosphere, and mechanics. This is what RE should have always been. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Buy this game, put on some headphones, turn off the lights and be ready to get scared out of your socks.

OMG! The tension in this game is through the roof. The original had "jumpy" scary moments during the game. This game so far has constant tension from the beginning. Alot of the game is different from the original. From the awesome visuals to the better more fluid non-tank controls. Old and new gamers are welcomed to this game!

Amazing graphics and gameplay and tons to explore in this new one. Graphics are top notch this time around too. Controls are tight and not sending you to a premature ending. Camera angles are updated and arrent locked like the original. Pick this up while its on sale. still worth asking price tho.

If you’ve played the old game then you’re in for a treat. I’ve only played Leon’s story so far and finished it in one long night. I could not stop! The graphic are amazing and so is the story. It was refreshing to see all the old style equipment and furniture from back in the day but in HD.
