I played this game for the PS2 and loved it, so of course I picked up the PS4 version. Great graphics, controls are the same though :(

Resident Evil 4 is, and will forever remain, a masterpiece. It says a lot when you can pop in a game over a decade old, and still get as engrossed into everything it has to offer like it was the first time ever experiencing it. If you have somehow still never played this game, put down whatever game(s) you are playing and make room for this survival horror smash. And if you've played it countless times on several platforms, it's still worth forking over a couple of bucks to revisit this legendary game. Really woth the money

Its basically a high res version of the ps2 game. They took the PC version it seems and ported. As i recall around 2014 resi4 on PC got HD textures and it seems this is that same version. Everything looks pretty crisp and all that. For 20 bucks, not bad. I like it better than the HD ps3 port. Its worth playing if youre a Resident Evil fan, otherwise i may pass, i mean its a ps2 game, made almost 10-15 years ago. Resi5 on ps4 is ehh and resi6 is ok, as ok as it can be considering it lost its touch at that point.

This was by far my favorite RE before RE7 came out. Its even better remastered for ps4 and for only paying 10$ worth every penny.

They did a standup job with this game. My only complaint is lack up subtitles for the cut scenes but that can be overlooked.

RE4 is a classic and genre defining game! a must play for all RE fans. Graphics are upgraded, story is amazing.

This game is just like the one from the we accept much better graphics I would definitely recommend this game at this $17 price

This is a great remaster. One of the best games in the series and it's great to have it for the current generation systems.

Always loved the resident evil franchise and now it's on the ps4 the graphics awesome and still has it bad dialog as u remembered but the aiming is difficultly but it's a classic that won't die

What is easily my favorite game in the series has been, yet again, re-released on the current generation of consoles. No matter how many times this game gets released or re-mastered, I happily spend the cash to experience it all over again. This time you get a smooth 60FPS and controls made to match the scheme of the PS4. The graphics are, finally, starting to look dated but still look amazing. For $20, or the $14 I got it for, this is a no brainer.

This game is a blast. It was made in a time before developers forgot that horror games are supposed to be scary. Sure, there's plenty of ammo to pick up in the game, but weapon upgrades are expensive, money is earned in small increments, enemies approach en masse and take several bullets to die, and they deal a lot of damage with a single attack. The controls are spot on and aiming is pinpoint perfect.

This is not a co-op friendly only strict to one player. I enjoy this game; however, I noticed that as I gotten through chapters, that the saving point is very scarce; meaning, if you killed some hardcore zombies and as you running to get to your destination some kills you; you have to start almost the whole chapter all over. I was upset especially when I was literally at the end and I was killed. There were no checkpoints and so, I had to start over like 3times before I killed multiple villains. Needless to say, it is a challenging game and cannot go wrong since it is Resident Evil.

Never played RE4 before until now on my PS4, and I got to say, story and gameplay-wise, it's the best Resident Evil game I've ever played. Obviously the HD graphics could be better (at least as in RE6) but they still look better than in the previous generations' consoles. Must have if you're new to the Resident Evil series and/or if you didn't buy that many of the previous hundreds re-releases.

This is hands down one of the best Resident Evils in the series. Being the first to introduce over-the-shoulder third-person shooting, it introduced fans of Resident Evil to a new experience. If, for whatever reason, you missed out on this game, I high recommend you giving this game a shot. Getting remastered with HD smooth graphics was just a plus to this awesome game.

Resident Evil 4 is a classic survival horror game that should be experienced by anyone who enjoys the genre. RE4 is considered by many to be one of the best in the franchise so at this price point its an easy buy. If you have never experienced RE4 or if you just want to experience the game again then this is the best way to do so, the game runs at 1080p/60 fps throughout.

Considering that this a remaster and not a remake, the game looks great for its age and runs smoothly on the PS4. As for the game itself, it is the perfect blend of action and horror thrills that many games today try to mimic but still can't replicate. RE4 needs to be experienced at least once by any self respecting video game enthusiast. An absolute classic.

I first played this game when it came out for the Nintendo GameCube, and it blew me away. I've bought every version of this game (GC, PS2, PC, PS3, PS4) that is how good it is. The atmosphere and the details, the slow pace game play the shooting mechanics. This game has it all. By far one of the greatest games ever made and now its on the PS4. Get it now!!!

If you haven't played this game before, you're missing out, it's great. If you have played it before, then you know what you're getting and you're considering giving capcom more of your money. It's not bringing much new to the table, a little prettier and a little smoother. But if you're looking for a physical copy on a current gen system, here it is.

Controls take long to get used to but everything else is solid.
