This is an awsome game. It always has something to kill. I think the longest time i havent had to kill something is when i had to get my first gun at the first part of the game. You get tons of guns. There arent as much puzzles which i like because im not that good at puzzles. I beat the game in about a week. But it was a good game. Everyone should get this game!

I was reading the reviews on here and sombody said resident evil sucks, lol he just doesn't know how to play.. Anyway this is the only game i'm looking forward to this year THIS IS THE GAME OF THE YEAR PERIOD. This is my only review, so you know this game is great or I wouldn't waste my time.. P.S. Call of Duty Sucks, Rainbow six totally better for online play..

I bought this game when it first came out and i still think it was worth the $60.00. I still have it, definitely worth it go and get it!! it is challenging, but beatable and you can also play the walk tru by yourself or with a friend at home or online, you can't beat that.

i've played the demo of this game just like thousands of other people and it's an amazing and fun game. if you are a fan of the series this is a must get. no exceptions. the graphics are amazing, more zombie killing mayhem, and the light factor is a brilliant aspect to bring into the game. oh yeah and be afraid of the dark in this game.

First of all, I was hooked on RE2 back on the N64, lost some sleep in the process. The concept is survival horror which is what i've come to know the Resident Evil franchise as. This installment, however, was very disheartening. Why? Well, for one, the eerieness is nonexistent. There is no creaking doors, no dogs chasing you, no groans of zombies nearby (5.1 surround made this rock in RE4). I found everything up to the my final play in pure daylight. Sorry Capcom but the night was sorely needed for full effect. Yes there were "zombies" but they were like soldiers rather than what I've come to expect. There are non-existent puzzles that I recall, just a straight up run to point A, then run to point B. What happened? Maybe I'm seeking nostalgia, after all, the best storyline was RE Code Veronica (and no graphics is not considered part of the storyline). Remember how Claire first realized Steve was a bit "out there" when he said something along the lines of killing people? (Yes, the two note piano was right on). Now that's storyline. Follow that to Steve's showdown with his father. He kills him and cries out "Fatherrr!" followed by scene change and Steve spilling his relationship and history. That has never been replaced to this day. I miss that special feeling. So, to wrap up, if you want more adventure, I guess this one is for you. I however will probably wait for my other games to get old before I decide to revert back to this one to see if it is worth pursuing another go.

I really liked Resident Evil on PS2 so when I got a PS3 I went out and got this one. Never disappointed by the gameplay and great graphics. Even though it takes a while to get me really interested in it, once it does I can't put it down.

This game rocks hard with high octane batlles you will never want to leave the room until you have to mange your items,and guns the problem with this is youl also have to do your partners if you are not playing with a human partner which alot of people wont be.

I only played for maybe an hour, and I am a casual gamer, but this game seemed to be very difficult for me. And the co-op aspect of it is very annoying. You to do everything with your partner in mind. I actually traded it in for what I paid for it.

As a 1 player game is pretty nice, but offline coop is where the fun is, it is pretty fun to play with someone else, it is not the longest game butin my opinion it has good replayability, and for less than 20bucks it is a no brainer

The overall story, graphics and controls were great. I really liked how they brought Jill back, although it did remind me of a soap. The one drawback is that you can play through the game in about 4-6hrs.

this is the best resident evil yet. capcom outdid themselves on this one. the graphics are awesome, the gameplay is the best, and the details are great. this is a must buy for fans and gamelovers alike.

The game is filled with so much fun. I briefly go to play REIV, but have to say this game takes the francise up another level. There are a few set backs that can be a bit of a headache. When playing with the AI there can be some hickups. It just doesn't follow through very well. The ammo being switched out is crazy at times. Above all when i started paly this game I was def convinced that this is a good idea. My suggestion play online with another person. it makes the experience all the better.

great game awesome boss battles and graphics somewhat frusturating at times for parents: some language but during skipable cutscenes.....not too scary for kid who is 13+

It is a good game need to fix the shoot and move and have enough ammo and deal with harder to kill enemies but if you are into the series I suggest it to them

This game is very great and fun action packed you should really plkay it.

I love that you can have two players on this one and that you can upgrade using points that you earn.

I bought Resident Evil 5 yesterday and I have to say I love the game and every thing about it, although Sheva can (and will) deplete any ammo and herbs you got, just don't give it to her, instead give her enough to help out of a scrape and if she runs dry---well let that the last time she gets any ammo until supplies restock. anyway I haven't beaten the game yet but what I've played of it---it's a blast to have!

Excellent! I've been a fan for years and own all the other games of the seris. This game becomes personal if you have played all of them before. The storyline, graphics, and play are top of the line. Hours of gameplay and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you have a certain partner you usually play games with, this game would give you the best experience of partnership.

This game makes me want to cry. Not since Metal Gear Solid 4 have I played a game that makes me want to buy extra copies just in case something happens to the one i'm playing. Chris and Jill are originals and this game brings them back in a whole new light. If you own a PS3, own this game!!!

so i downloaded the game from the playstation store because my friends were pretty stoked about it. the first thing i did was online co-op and the first lvl was really easy but i knew right then that this game was bad. first of all u walk really slow so when there r a lot of people it is just ridiculous to try to move and u cant shoot and walk at the same time. i have never actually been a fan of the resident evil games and i don't think i ever will be. for people that have never played these games i would not recommend it and for people that have i say go to call of duty games they r way better. oh and split screen also sucks it major hard.
