Exciting new addition to this series

This is yet another amazing addition to the Resident Evil series. I have played all and beaten every game in this library and I'm working on this one. This game like all RE games have great replay value, which can mean a lot for gamers paying upward of Hundred dollars per game. With all games I recommend renting or borrowing the title you seek before purchasing. But this game is a must have for all Zombie first person shooter lovers!

    Awesome action and thrilling escapes!

I'm enjoying this game, on second play through. The action is cool, well paced, scared me a few times, and the boss battles are epic. If you're a fan of Resident Evil, get the game now. Others will enjoy the game just as much. Not a child's game. The inventory system is similar to the previous games with limited space. A new plus is you can carry all your weapons this time! This helps a lot. The story is complex for new comers. I was able to follow easily since I've played all the games. Conclusion, awesome game with lots of action and thrills.

disappointing compared to other r.e. titles

I found this game to be disappointing mostly because the plot is broken up into 4 different storylines, which causes fragmented gameplay. i know they interweave with each other but i prefer the game to stick to a single story/character (this feels like 4 mini-games put together). also, this felt more like a modern shooter as opposed to the dark, spooky exploratory r.e. games of past. not a good move imo. should've stuck with the formula that got them there - you almost could slap a completely different title on the game and wouldn't even know it was an r.e. game.

I got this game on sale for $20 and its great but it feels like your playing COD because it has to much action it should have more horror like the previous resident evil games.

As the title states, i love resident evil. Resident evil 2 got me hooked, and i've been a fan ever since.. Re4 was probably the best, and then re5 came out, but i could not bring myself to pay the price for a ps3. When re6 came out, prices had come down a bit and i could't resist. I love how re6 has brought back the original zombie feel.

this game is great! intense and the difficulty is at a perfect level. the graphics could of used a little more work but all in all this game is a great buy, the story line for all characters mash up all together in to one and surprises throughout the game. if you havent bought this game yet and are a fan of the Resident Evil games, get it!

Bigger than ever, but not better.

The game does offer vast improvements in terms of cooperative experience - online or off. Resident Evil 5 was notorious for its vacuous AI partner system. This time, your ally will actually be useful, assisting you when necessary and not taking your resources.

Price is cheap but game play isn't as strong as RE 5.... Had a lot of hope for this being a good co-op game but so far hasn't been what I expected...

I absolutely hated this game. It isnt anything like a zombie game. More of an army combat game. Not what I expected.

Sub-par shooter wrapped in the wrong package

I bought my very first PlayStation in 1998. What a great experience. The game I got with it was Resident Evil 2, which is still one of my very favorite games today. It was bold, challenging offered a somewhat decent plot, and served to scare the mess out of me on more than one occasion. Unfortunately, Resident Evil 6 has none of these things. What set the Survival Horror genre apart as an open, mystery-solving series of horror and intrigue has degraded in to a linear, dime-a-dozen shooter with some controller-throw-inducing mini-games (don't get me started on the rope climb in the Leon campaign), sluggish cover mechanics, and a feel that Capcom is finally trying way too hard to appeal to the masses rather than make a great game.

    The worst!!!

When Capcom announced the Residentevil series will come later this year. I did keep all my hype up and wait for this series to come out, so I could have a chance to play my beloved series once more. However, once I play the game for about 15-20 minutes. I just turned off my console and look at the Residentevil 6 Collector edition that I purchased it on the first day. and said "I'm really glad to purchase this collector edition because I could able to play Residentevil 4...again" This could be the most disappointing game of the year.

Should be zero stars. Corrupt data message after two of the 15 chapters. You need to erase all your saved game data, start over and over and over. So if you like playing the same chapters eleventy billion times, getting no where. Capcom doesn't care, thank you for stealing my 60 bucks
