I'm not the biggest fan of strictly horror oriented games, but I can put up with Resident Evil and earlier Dead Space (1 and 2). I found this game as good as Resident Evil 2 remake albeit a less interesting story. The first person perspective does add a nice fear factor to the game compared to previous entries. Good game especially with gold edition since you get all the dlc. I will always be amazed how RE games takes place in such small maps, but appear larger in scope. Always great, but confusing level design sometimes with some funky puzzles if you're not paying attention. Most importantly though, the game is genuinely creepy and keeps you on your toes. I can only take so much of this tension, thus I rarely start and complete these types of games and I completed this so that says something about the quality!!!

This game really messed with my head the first time I played through it. It is scary, strategic and above all, it is survival horror because I felt like I was surviving playing this game. I am a huge fan of the series and genre so for me this was not even a question to buy. BONUS: The Gold Edition has all the DLC which are extremely fun and they come at a savings by buying it as an all in one package.

Don't let the first person view fool you, this is a vintage Resident Evil experience that takes it even further in VR.

Definitely worth the $15 I spent on Black Friday. I enjoyed the gameplay a bit more than RE 2 & 3 remakes. The story is intriguing because it is more paranormal than sci-fi. One of the most unique RE games out there.

This was by far the best RE game to date. Great graphics and story line make for an excellent game.

What a great game enjoying every minute of it. Not for small children because its pretty scary. Definitely has its jump out of your seat moments. Resident evil at its best. A must play game if you haven't already played it. Caught the gold edition on sale for 15. Thank you best buy. Was packaged great no broken case and a awesome game. Must Own for your ps4 collection.

This game is very difficult to play in VR. Great creepy atmosphere, all the while maintaining solid gameplay

I highly recommend this game to fans of resident evil and survival horror genre. Although, I personally like third person perspective like all previous resident evil games but I still enjoyed this game with first person perspective. Environment is intense and always keep you on the edge of your seat. With VR support, the overall experience is superb.

Bought this for my new PS4. Already beat it on my XBOX One , fantastic graphics, gameplay and great story

This game is absolutely awesome! Its scray and so much fun and vr mode is just excellent.

A great turning point for the Resident Evil series. Whereas Resi 4 took the series too far into the third person action territory, Resi 7 brings it back to the weird, B-Movie horror/adventure game roots. This is the real step forward for the franchise. The first person perspective put you squarely in the character shoses and let you experience the world first hand. It does stumble with some of the design choices, characters, and enemies but it keeps it from derailing by having great graphics, controls, interaction and immersion. Resident Evil 1 light if you will. Not a perfect game but a step in the right direction.

RE went back to its roots (survival horror) and made this First Person gem! It also resulted in Capcom remaking RE2 & RE3 which turned out great! Highly recommend RE7 as it was a catalyst in helping RE get back to its core of being a survival horror game rather than a cheap Call of Duty action type game.

Resident Evil Biohazard is a great addition of the Resident Evil Series! The first person point of view adds realism and it makes the game that much more fun to play! It took me a bit of time to get used to the mechanics of the game at first but once I got past it, the game was so much fun! it's a must buy for fans of the Resident Evil Series!

An absolute blast, one of the best in the series. The first half of the game is better than the second, but it still brought the RE series back to it's horror roots and thank goodness for it! VR: This is amazing! Definitely one of the best titles available for VR but definitely take breaks as it can be quite disorienting.

My daughter bought this for her boyfriend. He is 16. My 13 year old son thought he would like it. However my son did not want it. He said these games were terrifying.

This is more survival horror than the action games that the series became. The graphics are outstanding. The first person viewpoint works well for this type of game (and you can play in VR). The DLC is alright.

Great game and it comes with paid downloadable content. Its also the only version to have VR. Its definitely an experience in VR and I recommend everyone try it at least once even if VR is not for you. This game will have you scared in some parts of the game. I do recommend.

RE 7 ... series takes a step towards the original survivial horror that launched the series but this time with a twist ... first person camera. If you are brave you can try to tackle this game in VR too. Not for the faint of heart! I've heard of tons of people that can't finish this game after starting it...
