The game got more shocking as it was played. The evolution of the characters was fun. Only wish there was more available ammo

Great game, loved all the graphics and story line.

Good game if you like scary games. The first person is a new take on resident evil games. Not as many puzzles as zero, 1 or, 2 but it is still a good game. Good story and fun to play.

Hands down this is the best resident evil in the series. It feels as if your playing a slasher film. Creepy, scary and good fun. The story line pulls you in deeper and deeper into the mystery!

I have always been a fan of resident evil games so I looked forward to RE7. I was a little skeptical about the new style of game play but kept an open mind being an fps fan. RE7 definitely lived up to all the hype and is a game you have to experience! It truly is very good at immersing you making you jump fearing what could be lurking around each and every dark corner. I absolutely loved this game and it's story. I must say that this new style of gaming RE7 brings to the table is amazing and I can't wait to see how it will evolve in the future. Only thing was the game is kind of short and leaves you wanting more! Still a must play.

Bringing the survival horror back to RE, the previous one seemed more action packed than a survival horror. This one made me jump on more than one occassion

This is easily one of the best resident evil games in a long time. Probably the best PS4 game to date. It is legitimately scary. I found my self getting scared, spooked, every thing. My heart races when I play this game. I'm seriously stressed out. My dad doesn't like playing it for too long because he thinks it's going to give him a heart attack. There's a lot of fun game play and a bunch of bonus features. it's so worth every penny. I didn't know if I would like this at first because I don't like 1st Person games, but this is utterly fantastic.

This is a truly Amazing game the way it is designed makes you feel so engaged in the game that when scary parts happen you jump out of your seat. I would recommend is game to anybody who likes a good scare. Also anybody who likes a good game

Fan of old school Resident Evil? You're going to LOVE this game. New to the Resident Evil series? You're going to LOVE this game. Dislike horror games? You're definitely going to HATE this game. Resident Evil 7 pays homage to where the original crafted the survival horror genre that so many fans know & love. A true modern survival horror done extremely well, if you're looking for that next title to do that genre justice look no further. The gameplay is a mix of old school with new school elements that takes the player on a thrilling and horrifying journey.

Resident Evil 7 got back to it's roots, and there was several times, I would jump while playing this one. I had to make sure my young kids were not in the room, as this is like a horror movie made into a video game. Awesome!

Great game from start to finish, it’s not a typical Resident Evil game. But gameplay is fun and easy to pick up and play. This was the best Resident Evil I’ve played in a long time. If your a RE fan you have to try it!

This is one of my favorite games. Playing it in 1st person is different then what I’m used to with R.E. Games but they did a great job. Would not recommend for children under 12 because of language in the game.

I don't usually like games like this but the reviews and commercials drew me to it. I tried the demo before buying this game and it was fun which convinced me to purchase the full game. The last Resident Evil game that I played was RE 5 and I liked it but this game is completely different. Instead of being in 3rd person, it is in 1st person and it is more of a survival game than a action shooter. Full of jumps and scares and a intriguing story, it is a game worth trying...but with the lights on.

I picked this up on a Friday and played it all weekend. I've been a fan of the series but the RE 6 was not very enjoyable in many ways and the previous 2 (RE4 and RE 5) were more action oriented. Not bad but they weren't always my favorite because the survival horror element was gone. This game brought it back. The story was enjoyable (a few plotholes I think) but the gameplay was really fun and got intense at times. Highly recommend it for survival horror and RE fans.

Brings back old RE tricks in a new way! Awesome game, different type of foes. The first person aspect makes it a lot more frightening and exciting not being able to see a whole 360 angle. One thing I don't like is they have made it quite a bit easier to figure out puzzles or beat bad guys. If you struggle for a while, it basically walks you through how to do it. Some might like this, but I enjoyed the challenge of figuring out where the heck a shiny stone goes.

Played the demo of this game and so far am loving it. They switched from 3rd person to first person but went back to being scary. Not like the past few Resident Evil games that were focused on action and shooting. This returns to form the anxiety of limited ammo, things popping out at you, and environmental factors that is spine tingling. Can't wait to dive into this game!

Are you a fan of Resident Evil 4, 5, or 6? Then you will hate this game. Resident Evil 7 returns us to the feelings we had playing Resident Evil 1 as a child, only it ramps the thrill up to 11. Genuine jump scares that are only amplified by the choice of making this a first-person experience. You will actually get stressed playing this game, so if you're naturally anxious, I do not recommend playing this game. Also, try to play with the lights on.

I have always been a RE fan and I think they are back on track to making great horror games again.
