RE7 is a true love letter to its fans. It is a first person, next generation rendition of the classic Resident Evil games we grew up with. Items and keys make a return and is an important component of progressing in the game. It has more puzzle heavy gameplay and action scenes are few and far between. There are more scares in RE7 and it is great to see this franchise return to what made it popular in the first place. You will fear going into rooms and you will fear being caught. I can't say enough good things about this game. The graphics are great, pacing is great, scares are great. Overall a worthy purchase.

The game franchise started going towards the more COD approach with 5 and 6. But this went back to the original survival horror. Best Resident Evil so far!

If not the best Resident Evil game its definitely on my top 3. The best Horror Survival game of all time period in my opinion. Own it on the PS4 but re bought it on the XBOX for the 1X experience.

So far I see the story is being very interesting. Keeps you involved and wanting to continue to see what other surprises will occur. Graphics are very satisfying

This is one of the most terrifying games I’ve ever played. If you ever played the demo for P.T. And enjoyed it then I think you will enjoy this game. It is locked in a first person view and you get immersed in the ambience and creep factor of the game. Not sure I’ll ever complete it lol, at least not when sitting alone in a dark room. The game has a good story, creepy and memorable characters. You definitely need to pick this game up if you can find it still at a good price.

I'm not familiar with other games in this series, but so far this one is fun.

Another great addition to the Resident Evil franchise! Although slightly different from the other entries, the atmosphere is scary and the gameplay is great!

Scarce ammo, jump scares and back to the old school Resident Evil games. I enjoyed playing this game and definitely has replay value.

It's not a bad game. Personally i have a hard time understanding why games aren't more in depth and last longer. This is maybe 10 hours of gameplay, i had it beat in two sessions. As for the game itself, the movement of the character in first person is super slow. Even when running it feels like they are in mud. The blocking option is more or less useless. Story line and plot are fun. The puzzles within the game are entertaining. I like the ability to make ammo and make your own health. There are some weapons, especially the advanced ones, that you use maybe once. The .44 that you save up the coins for i did not use at all. Overall a decent game, but i would not pay full price for it.

Overall enjoyable game would def recommend if you like horror games

This is a fantastic game, different gameplay than the other games in the series, but has many ties story wise to the other games in the series

Bought this for my sister's Birthday and she seems to really like it, says It's creepy and scares the $@#% out of her constantly but is fun.

If you are into horror themed games and are a fan of the resident evil franchise then this game is definitely for you. The best RE game yet!

Plays smoothly, challenging enough to make it interesting and I like that it's a stand alone story that has nothing to do with the other RE

I must play! Game just gets better and better the more you play. Be ready to jump. Recommend you play with the lights on if you jump easily

Very nice, even though I still like Resident Evil 4 the best.
