Pretty sure if you want to install this game on both a Xbox one /s/ x console, and a Xbox Series X it will work. When you install to Series X they ask if you'd like to upgrade using the smart delivery. It is a 30 gb upgrade via internet download. Once the game has installed the disc is basically used as the key to run game. On the series X during gameplay don't hear the optical disc drive doing any processing of data on disc. This really is nice as it cuts down and excess noise/ heat. I'll try installing this game on the Xbox One S to see how it runs too. Also REverse is included a separate digital code card located behind the Trauma Pack Digital Code card on the right side of the case. I have not tried installing REverse or redeem it yet, so can't say how it works yet. Only played the introduction so far, and without giving any spoilers I'd say this game is delivering a setting/mood I didn't know I wanted in a Resident Evil title.

Got this game on release for my birthday. Literally couldn't stop playing it, and it was my first RE game. Strong story and gameplay, could replay over and over

I've been waiting for the follow up to Resident Evil 7 for a while now. Super excited to add this one to my collection!

I want to start off by saying I am a huge fan of the Resident Evil Series I have had it on just about every platform I own almost ever version of the game series. Resident Evil 4 was definitely my most favorite in the series. With that being said this may be my most favorite in the series so far the gameplay and story and graphics was incredible. Not to mention the replay value is great I have beaten the game 5 times already. They are also releasing a dlc in near future which I can’t wait for. I highly recommend this game to any resident evil fan or new to the series or just likes horror games in general this one had a few jump scares.

This game is incredible. I like the subtle changes they made to the combat (like barricading doorways and using the environment as a distraction). The graphics are succulent especially on the SeXbox, since you can toggle ray tracing and other high end graphical settings. The story is pretty good. I'm enjoying the direction they took to further develop the protagonist's place in the Resident Evil universe. The one gripe I have is one many people have noted in other reviewing forums. The camera acceleration and motion blur is SO INTENSE. Literally, the first time in my life I thought I would get sick if I didn't turn these settings down. I think Capcom was trying so hard to amp up the realism (in terms of presentation) that they didn't take into account the effect it would have on the player-base. Otherwise. really glad I am still a fan of Resident Evil. Add this to your collection.

Resident Evil Village is another stellar entry following RE 7 and the last two remakes. It's much more action oriented than RE 7 but there are still some genuinely surprising parts & horrifying creatures to encounter along your journey. The only thing I would've like to see is the ability to switch between 1st Person & 3rd Person in this game. In RE 7 first person seemed fine because of the claustrophobic & horror focused experience in that game, but this game seems like it'd be fun to play in 1st & 3rd Person so I was surprised to see there's 3rd person unlock able or something. Overall small gripe, but something that I thought the game could benefit from. I played through 5 times so far and it's a well crafted experience with lots of re-playability due to all the unlockables. I can't wait to see what they have in store for DLC content!

Really fun game. More action then horror. If you liked RE 7 or 4 then you will love RE 8. This game takes 10 hours to complete the main story. There is a multi player component that is a separate download that I haven’t tried yet.

Super huge Resident Evil fan here so I am biased but anyone who likes these types of games will love this one in the series. This one is more action oriented this time but the new monsters/villians/environment keep it interesting. Very fun to play and re-play, excellent story, and makes you excited for the continuation of this narrative. For sure I would say RE7 is the better of the two as I prefer more of the scary horror vibes than the action. My only worry is for the future RE9 that they go full on action and it becomes a RE6 situation. Highly recommend this game though, play it!

Let me start by saying, Resident Evil is my absolute favorite series of all time. RE VIII is freaking amazing! The story, graphics, enemies, bosses, environments, puzzles and challenges are outstanding. Some levels will creep you out, even when there is nothing happening. The game play is very intuitive and there are a wide variety of weapons to use and upgrade. After completing the game, there is a mode which allows you to kills a number of enemies in a set time, which is also addictive. Do yourself a favor and buy this game, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing game. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who likes games on the scarier side. Jump scares, but not too bad.

Great game. Not traditional RE but the upgrade system is top notch and gameplay is tight. Even better on PSVR2.

A quality game in the Resident Evil franchise that's a little more action heavy than 7.

This is a really good game and is a worthy entry in the Resident Evil franchise. I have played all the RE games and this one is easily in the top 3. RE4 and Re7 being 1 and 2 respectively. The story is decent but the gameplay is amazing. They have tried to include all the aspects of RE that make is so much fun to play. From the claustrophobic spaces of the castle to the wide open areas of the village. Its just a great experience. My only issue with it is that its a shorter game, at least as compared to RE7. All in all, this is a great game worth the price.

Resident Evil is back with a new style, combining the gameplay style of RE7, and the village theme from RE4. The game is engaging, the graphics are superb, and the action is more intense. I recommend this for any Resident Evil fan!

Absolutely awesome game! Definitely more action based compared to RE7, but still gives you good scares, good puzzles, and a huge area to explore. I love the FPS style camera, it gives you a more personal experience for the game.

The game starts off difficult but once you get the idea of what’s going on and how to avoid early enemies it’s a breeze. Good story scary in some sections and action packed in others. Great replay value!

Three hours in and I am hooked. It is more action packed than many previous version of RE but the graphics are great on the xbox series X. If you enjoyed RE7 this sequel is a must have.

I like this game resident evil village is one of the good storytelling, and I love resident evil resident evil 4 was one of my favorite game, but this was a good story
