I'm a huge Resident Evil fan and they at least stuck with the source material in this not like some other RE movies that went south and got ridiculous. The only gripe that I had was that they combined both RE 1&2 in one movie. They had to cut out characters and rushed it. They had enough source material from the first game to make it a standalone film and enough from RE2 game to make it's own movie. Some of the things they did with it was great though I still enjoyed it.

As a serious fan of the games, I found the references and set pieces to be super satisfying. Some will be turned off by Leon’s casting (which I didn’t mind) and the pacing. They packed 2 games into one 100 minute movie.

This steelbook stands apart from all others offered through the store of stores, Best Buy. As premium manufacturers often provide with their wares, this beautiful steelbook also includes a handful of art cards within. This is a welcomed addition, increasing the overall collectibility of the set and my appreciation of it. Good job, BB. Yet another excellent steelbook, one that showcases the progressing nature of your business.

I did enjoy this film more than the other recent Resident Evil flicks starring Milla Jovovich. It’s still not the best adaptation of a videogame ever, but it’s a fun watch.

I won't lie I really didn't like this one. However Chris redfield is casted and acted perfectly. The vibes were good but this is not resident evil.

Without spoiling too much this movie may not be for everyone. It really was a faithful adaptation to the first two video games. More horror orientated, some of the old Resident Evil humor that fans would expect. As far as a zombie movie a little slower paced then most but it is clearly setting up the ground work for future sequels if greenlit. Fans will like it, movie lovers may think it is simply ok.

Being a fan of Resident Evil, I really enjoyed this movie. It will keep you on the edge of your seat to say the least. Good story line, and lots a fun action. Just don't spill too much popcorn.

If you want the back story to the whole Resident Evil movie series, then you should buy this movie. I don't know if I will watch it again but I basically enjoyed it the first time through.

This reboot isn’t bad at all but it did felt rushed. But the graphics aren’t bad at all story line is ok could be better. But how they got the police station and the mansion look exactly like the game is pretty epic. But the cgi zombie dog was the weakest in the Resident Evil (2002) the zombie dogs looked more realistic.ohh the stealbook is beautiful and well designed.looking forward to the sequel.

It's a great movie based off the original source material of the video game! At first I was hesitant to see this movie, but I'm so glad I did. I love the homage it pays to the video game.

Movie was decent but the steelbook and bonuses are cool. The only downside may be the price-point. If you collect steelbooks, you understand the struggle and prices above $40 add up lol

Its a good prequel. It doesn't really align with the way things kicked off in the originals. It was still a good movie showing some back story.

It is no masterpiece but for some mindless entertainment this is a gem. A good reboot of the franchise. Already watched it twice. I recommend it. Make some popcorn sit back and enjoy the show. Better than most of the Junk Hollyweird is producing.

It took a little while for the storage to develop but once A-day there was no stop action however my blue ray 4K disk that I received froze on me twice and I had to skip that

This is an ok movie, especially if you are a resident evil fan. Despite the many flaws, it is still cool to see the video game elements used in this live action movie!!

Very fun, and very bloody. This movie captured the feel of the first couple Resident Evil games from the late 90's. Never a dull moment and I hope they make a sequel!

Beside how they portrait Leon compare to the game, everything seems pretty good if you play Remake RE 2 and 3, there is lots of familiar places.

The movie followed the game very well. I enjoyed it. You cannot compare it with the others because it has no connection with them. The zombies were great, as ususl.

In Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City we harken back to the original video game roots. The game story is now being told as an adult live action movie. If you are a fan of the franchise, and have enjoyed playing the games, you should love this one. The bonus extras provide some great background into the making an ties to the game.

Not a masterpiece film, but it truly represents the elements of the original 2 RE games. Great picture and sound quality!
