I wasn't sure about this movie, but once I saw it I said to myself finally a video game movie that gets it right, it was low budget and it had that dark gritty feel to This movie which I love, I just hope that they continue making the sequels from this movie making it just like This one.

This is the best adaptation of the video game in this franchise. It was very nostalgic seeing all those iconic locations from the games on the screen.

Overall the movie is not that bad if you are a fan of the games. The movie had so much potential which they wasted the opportunity.

Resident Evil Welcome to Raccoon City is a must own in your Resident Evil collection looks great in 4K, hopefully they keep going with this new movie franchise pumped up for sequels. Would recommend, Best Buy delivered fast and in excellent condition.

Its a bad movie but still it does a lot better job following the game than the other resident evil movies ever did, even down to the bad writing from the original RE games on the playstation. It is still a fun enjoyable experience though, with the great sound/audio design and gritty/dirty feel of the entire movie.

Was an ok movie, did have some good scenes.Would of been nice if original actress was in it. Like the first Resident Evil more.

Very good movie. I was nervous with no Milla Jovovich and a whole new storyline, but was not disappointed at all. Even better in 4K!

This title went old school game one story!! Blu ray 4k disc , sounded great in A home theatre. Got on sale worth the purchase.

Darker than the originals but an enjoyable true to game reboot.

The movie is a mostly faithful mashup of the first two games. It is a fun spectacle for fans of the games. For the unfamiliar it may be close to C movie territory- but that’s what the games were going for in the first place! Lovely steelbook and great looking and sounding 4k!

Good little flick! Not better than the original movies but still a good watch. Dolby Vision and Atmos was spectacular here!

A closer adaptation to the games but still misses the mark. Some interesting cinematography but some odd character decisions.

Why can’t we have nice things as Resident Evil fans in the world of film? I regret actually buying this. It did have some cool Easter eggs and moments but not enough to redeem some of the atrocities it committed against the source material. Do yourself a favor and skip this one, play the games instead.

I don’t understand the hate behind this film. It perfectly embodies the tone and visuals of the original games.

As a fan of the videos games I see where the director went with this film but it was lacking the zombies and action but it still came out to be a decent film they stayed close to the video games and I hope they make more sequels to this one!

If you're a resident evil fan you'll definitely notice the changes in the movie. Keep your expectations low and I mean low, see the movie for what it is......"entertainment". As for me if they get approved for a sequel, best believe I'll watch it because I owe it myself to finish what I started lol gotta see it through the end just like I did the other RE movies lol.
