I know this movie is not everyone's cup of tea but its my piece of PIE..... lol. Love the main actress and the Nostalgia comparing to the game. I guess cause I grew up playing Resident Evil.

Movie was decent, way better than the resident evil tv show

Great for a B-C movie with action any very little mystery.

I have always liked the Resident Evil Series this movie isn't a bad entry into the series. This is a retelling of the original Resident Evil 1 & 2 games. It's nice to see segments of original 2 games. The only thing is this series of movies has gone a very long time. The movie plays as if there was going to be a planned sequel. It would actually be nice to see a live action movie series of Resident Evil that actually follows the events and locations of the game series. I'm not sure if that will happen this film didn't get great reviews or have a big box office draw. Hopefully it will continue. I would only recommend this film if you're a fan of the original Resident Evil games otherwise it's just another zombie movie

Surprisingly faithful, yet still taking an original approach. We really enjoyed it. As fans of the previous series of films, and long time fans of the game series it was nice to see the film series return to its roots in Horror over action. That said, don’t expect John Wick crossed with Scream. This is a very straightforward adaption. One people really slept on, or were too harsh. Remember this is “Resident Evil”, and not Midsommar. Actors are serviceable in their roles, and not winning awards. The story feels like it could be a game, and I honestly feel that was intentional. So take a chance, and I hope you enjoy this very good new film in the series’s.

RE Welcome to Raccoon City us very impressive on so many levels This film is in the George A. Romero RE timeline Many elements were taken from Romero's script adding more grounded real world logic with countless Easter eggs from the History/Games The result is very good some of the GCI looks rushed/cheap but, almost all the infected citizens/Zombies look really good! Lots of unique little details classic body horror elements Umbrella is spot on and built up the proper way! Cast seem to actually be doing there best, if there was a Director's Cut submitted to the MPAA) The pace is very smooth wish it was longer The score is awesome Purest might have problems with some of the story narrative being changed up (Taking two major stories mashing them up) But, these same critics will gush over RE7 & RE Village The fact this film was buried online from the jump is actually heartbreaking it should've been a hit/Horror Hit! It's actually a real legit live action RE Film (That doesn't insult your intelligence) It's also a love letter to the fans, George A. Romero and low budget Italian Horror....Love this films so much bought both UHD home video releases

It has a good picture and sound. The content is good also.

If you have played the games you will know what will happen but not exactly like the games a little different.

Better than I thought it would be. The sound quality is really good as well. Well balanced and beautiful base.

A good reboot for this franchise. This story line is closer to the video game & feels more like a horror movie.

I really great movie moving characters. Emotional fictional.

Lots of action, guns blazing and zombies from every corner. Raccoon City was being abandoned by the big pharmaceutical company because of experiments gone wrong. The small band of local police fighting to save their own lives, is joined by the sister of one of the men. Together they discover the link of their orphanage and the pharma company - but it may be too late. As with zombie movies, lots of people die before a couple of the main leads escape.

What a great movie to add to the Resident Evil line up.
