When i opened it, the cable was already broken and the retractable element of the cable could not be fixed unless I bought another one. The only good thing about this cable and the charging block is the 70W availability.

I had this exactly one day before the wheel locked up and when I tried to fix it, the whole thing came apart. Now, it's no better than carrying around the regular charger for my laptop. Complete waste of money.

Continued to use because cord and charger were fine, until today. 2 months later the end of charging cord completely broke. $60 wasted. Should bought the $16 cord that lenovo makes.

But since I travel a lot for work it has turned out quite well. Compact & efficient, if not quite as long as the original. Def good for when you are mobile!
