What's to say about a handsome backwoods man on a horse but gush worthy romance

This is a great classic movie for the whole family to enjoy

I'm a huge fan of westerns, and several years ago I picked up a copy of "The Man From Snowy River", a western set in Australia, and we really enjoyed it. "Return to Snow River", is the sequel to it, and continued the good story. My only complaint was that, for whatever reason, they replaced one of the main characters, originally played by Michael Douglas, with Brian Dennehy. To make it worse, Douglas actually played two characters in the first film: the father of the main character, Jim Craig's girl friend, and his twin brother, Spur, who was a close friend to Jim Craig. In "Return to Snowy River", Dennehy was now the father, and Spur was gone, with no explanation. Other than that, we enjoyed the film, and are happy to add it to our DVD library.

Very good western family movie.. I recomend to buy and watch THE MAN FROM SNOWY RIVER first.. I got it on Blu Ray.. It is too bad this one hasnt come out on Blu Ray.. I still recomend both movies

Already had this on VHS, so I now wanted it on DVD. Had points to use from Best Buy and this is what I got. Incredible music, scenery and acting. One of the very best drama movies!

Great movie. Nice to see the second movie with most of the original actors. Good story line. Again, amazing watching these actors and horses work together.

I also purchased this DVD for my mother( she loves these films). This sequel doesn't quite capture the magic of the first film. Tom Burlinson and Brian Dennehy give good performances. Best Buy's fast free shipping was awesome.

We own part one, so we had to get the return to Snowy River, this is a very good family movie, and our grand daughter loves the horses

Good follow-up to the original Snowy River movie. Actually bought this for my mother who loved the first movie and she's hooked on this one, too.

Love "The Man from Snowy River" and this, "The Return to Snowy River" completes the story. So glad to have found it!
