Seller's Panther swan song
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This, the fifth Panther film & the last to feature Peter Sellers (who died two years later), basically ignores the events of its predecessor (The Pink Panther Strikes Again) to allow the return of Herbert Lom's Dreyfus. Clouseau is presumed dead (the scene in which Dreyfus eulogizes his nemesis is this entry's funniest moment) and heads to Hong Kong to stop a drug plot. He teams up with a drug lord's lover (Dyan Cannon) upon arriving. Sellers dons many disguises here, which is reminiscent of his great work in Dr. Strangelove.
