I installed the Rexing 7" wireless touchscreen in my 2010 Camry, and it works great. The screen is bright and allows me use Android Auto and GPS/music at the same time hands-free. Installation was mostly straightforward, the instructions and included parts made it easy to fit cleanly onto the dashboard. One small issue I noticed is that some of the clips provided to secure the power cable feel a little small and don’t hold as firmly in certain areas of my car’s trim. This might be a combination of my car’s plastic and the clip size. That said, if you route the power cable under the trim, these clips are not essential. A bit stronger adhesive or slightly larger clips would be great for the next model. I like the extra USB-C port on the power adapter allowing me to charge my phone while powering the screen. The 90-degree design keeps everything flush and tidy. Overall, it feels like excellent value and a smart upgrade for any older car looking for a modern infotainment experience. I have an older Toyota RAV4 that we only use during the winter, and I wanted to add Apple CarPlay without spending $800 or more on a factory retrofit for a vehicle that doesn't get driven very often. After doing some research, I decided to give this unit a try, and I'm really glad I did. It turned out to be exactly the solution I was looking for. The installation was straightforward, and once everything was set up, it worked even better than I expected. My biggest concern before buying was whether the unit would be slow, laggy, or take a long time to connect every time I got in the car. Fortunately, none of those concerns turned out to be an issue. The touchscreen is very responsive, scrolling is smooth, and there is no noticeable lag when navigating through menus or using Apple CarPlay. The wireless connection has also been excellent. My iPhone connects automatically within seconds of starting the car, and the unit quickly connects to my vehicle without any hassle. Once connected, everything works seamlessly, including maps, music, phone calls, and Siri. It honestly feels like a factory-installed system. Considering the price, I think this is an outstanding value. It gave me all the functionality I wanted without spending a fortune on an older vehicle. The build quality feels solid, the performance has been reliable, and it has made driving the RAV4 much more enjoyable. If you're looking for an affordable way to add Apple CarPlay to an older car, I would absolutely recommend this unit. It's a great product and an even better value.

I am happy with my purchased. The setup is easy for my Android and to my surprise, it is connected via Bluetooth. The screen is smooth and once you connect your phone to your car via Bluetooh, then the music from Android Play is played in your car. The touchscreen is smooth and fast. Setup is a breeze with the tools provided. One thing that I would add to my end is to get a charger split so I can charge my phone too. Otherwise, it is great!

I installed this in my old Lexus that didn’t have CarPlay and it honestly made the car feel way more modern right away. Setup was really simple, just plug it in, mount it, and you’re good. Wireless CarPlay connects pretty smoothly and having maps, music, and messages on a clean screen makes driving a lot nicer. I actually tried a cheaper one from Amazon before this and this one is definitely better. It feels more reliable and just works how you expect it to. It does sit on the dash like a separate screen, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Sound works best through AUX and overall it’s been a solid experience. Overall it’s a really good option if you want CarPlay in an older car without doing a full install.

Really wonderful addition for any car that doesn't have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The installation is very easy with the use of any 12V adapter which I intend to hide behind the dash. The length of wires is definitely adequate for the install and the tape on the mount is very strong. The setup (after install) is simple and just like any other car that has these features standard. Connect via Bluetooth, open CarPlay and the you are off and running. After that, it is a fully capable CarPlay setup that adds so many new features for your car. I tried the AUX audio connection first, but quickly switched over to Bluetooh as my wife's van supported it. If your vehicle doesn't support Bluetooth, the Aux connection is fine, but ensure you use a very good cable and you may need to adjust a few settings on the head unit. Overall, we love this and the screen is nicely large enough for full display (with responsive touchscreen) but not too big to become a distraction. Hands free is truly happening now!

This is another great Rexing product. I installed this in my Honda S2000 as they did not come with Media screens. I couldn’t find a listing for the maximum size of the SD card this will handle but used a 512 GB card with no issues. I loaded music on this and found it played flawlessly and was easy to navigate the music. The media feature I really liked is I could pull my Rexing Dashcam SD card and view the video on a much larger screen without needing a computer. The Android Auto remembers the phone and auto connects when the Media Player starts and locates the last phone it was connected to. If you are looking for an easy way to add Android auto and a media player to an older vehicle this is the perfect solution. I also liked that you could rotate the mounting bracket to mount the screen alongside the center console, under the dash or on the dash. Installation and setup is very easy.

The Rexing 7 inch wireless touchscreen receiver is the ultimate shortcut to modernizing an older vehicle dashboard without going through the absolute headache of a complicated stereo installation. The bright, sharp seven inch display completely changes your driving routine, instantly connecting wirelessly to Android Auto the moment you turn the key so you can view Google Maps and control your media entirely hands free. What makes this unit an exceptional value is that it pulls double duty by packing a fully functional dash cam setup directly into the hardware, combining seamless smartphone integration with crisp recording for total peace of mind on the road. Navigating through apps is completely fluid thanks to the highly responsive touch interface, and routing your audio directly through your existing car speakers is simple and reliable. It is a brilliant, plug and play upgrade that effortlessly brings premium connectivity and modern tech safety features to any older ride.

Recently bought an entry level Corolla and while it has Bluetooth it does not have a navigation/Android Auto. I got spoiled on my last car and wanted something like that. So, when I saw Rexing offer this product I thought I would give it a go and just like normal with their products I was not disappointed. This is the perfect upgrade for my Corolla. Not only do I get to use Android Auto again, but I also have multiple options to play music. This product can stream music either from AUX connection (Decent), FM Transmitter (Horrible), Bluetooth to the car (Perfect). The Super link that the Rexing touchscreen has allows the phone to connect via Wi-fi to this product and allow the Bluetooth to connect to the car. This allows me to keep the factory stereo, steering wheel controls, and the factory mic in use while having navigation at my finger tips. Another nice feature is while I am connected to Bluetooth on the car, I can still use the car controls to talk with someone using the car's microphone and have the audio play out of the speakers as I normally would without this product. I love that I get to keep all the functionality from the car and just add the navigation with this display. The installation was a breeze and I have the choice to install onto the dash with the included adapter or I have to buy a windshield mount. I opted to use the included adapter for this. If, and I hope Rexing develops something, I would love to have a rear camera for this product. There is a port on the back of the display for a rear camera, but no mention of it in the instructions.

this unit works pretty good, easy to use. connects to my iphone via bluetooth easily. my only wish was that i was able to use gps without it connecting to my phone. nice display

This REXING 7" touchscreen is a must have for older vehicles without built-in Android Auto/CarPlay. It brought modern features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to my car without replacing the stereo. Setup was straightforward, and it paired with my phone almost instantly. The display is crisp and clear. I was particularly impressed by the airplay casting feature, which allows mirroring my phone's screen—a feature that feels like an added bonus at this price point. There are several ways you can output the audio. I tested the AUX output, which works flawlessly to route sound through the car speakers and I could control using steering mounting controls. It also supports FM transmission and Bluetooth. Also, it has inbuilt speak as well but I personally find AUX audio out the best. The packaging was also very well done and everything felt premium and secure. If I have to nit-pick then the port accessibility is very tricky after installation since ports are located at the bottom, which makes plugging or unplugging cables inconvenient. Despite this minor drawback, the REXING 7" wireless touchscreen has completely transformed my driving experience. From hands-free calling and music to GPS navigation on a larger screen, everything works smoothly. I highly recommend it.

I really love Rexing products. After the first one, they become very easy to install. The display comes in a very neat packaging, all items required to install included after cleaning the inside of the windshield. The display links up very easy with an iPhone , works just as it is supposed to. I have had similar Rexing products for 10+ years and will stay a customer for them. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a reliable product at a great price.

I recently purchased the Rexing 7" Wireless Touchscreen Display Adapter with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. Installation was a breeze — even if you’re not super tech-savvy, it’s straightforward to set up and gets connected quickly. Once installed, it pairs seamlessly with my phone and delivers a smooth wireless CarPlay Auto experience without the clutter of cables. The touchscreen interface is responsive, and navigation, music, calls, and other apps all work just as they should. I’ve had zero issues with connectivity or lag, which makes everyday driving a lot more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, this adapter feels like a high-quality upgrade that brings modern smartphone integration to my vehicle with minimal fuss. Highly recommended!

I installed this in my 2002 Honda Accord because I wanted Android Auto and a touchscreen without replacing the factory stereo or doing a complicated installation. For the price, I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve used a similar device before that also had a built-in dashcam. That can be nice if you need one, but I actually prefer this setup. If you already have a separate dashcam and just want the Bluetooth, Android Auto, and touchscreen features, this works really well. I already have a dedicated dashcam, so I didn’t really need another one built into the screen. Setup was pretty straightforward. I connected my Android phone and got Android Auto working without much trouble. I use it mainly for Google Maps, music, and calls. The 7-inch screen is a good size, and being able to see the map and directions on a bigger screen is a big improvement over using my phone. If you're putting this in a similar older car, I would recommend getting a good high-amp USB car charger. I had to pay attention to the power requirements, especially when running both the dashcam and this screen. A good charger should help avoid power issues. Overall, I’m happy with it. It’s a pretty simple way to add some modern features to an older car without replacing the factory stereo. The biggest improvement for me is having a large screen where I can actually see my map directions while driving instead of on my phone.

I picked this up for an older car that didn't have CarPlay, and it's honestly been a bigger upgrade than I expected. Setup only took a few minutes, and now it reconnects to my phone automatically almost every time I start the car. The touchscreen is responsive and the 7" display is a lot nicer for maps than trying to glance at my phone. I also like that I didn't have to replace the factory stereo or mess with any wiring. The only minor downside is that the power cable is always visible unless you spend some time hiding it. Overall, if you want wireless CarPlay or Android Auto without replacing your head unit, this is a really solid option for the price.

I have used other car screens that you can mount on the dash but they always have trouble with touch and lags. This one is super snappy and quickly connects with Carplay every single time. I like it simple plug and play device. comes with a mount with no stick pad that keeps it firms on the dash. My Jeep has texture dash but had no problems with staying put. I you have an older car and want truly handsfree wireless CarPlay then this is very easy and simple upgrade. Recommended.

Easy CarPlay addition for a non CarPlay vehicle Huge screen for gps alone and then add the rest of the CarPlay features is awesome. Love that you get a trxt notice and then it will announce the text and reply through the stereo. If you already have a dash cam it’s a perfect addition. The interface is smooth and easy to navigate. Definitely recommend. The mount is great and flexes to any surface curved or flat

I really like the convenience of having a 7-inch touchscreen without having to replace the factory stereo. The wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it easy to use navigation, music, and voice controls right from the screen. I have been using the apple carplay and so far it has worked 100% of the time for the last few weeks. The setup is straightforward, the display is a good size, and I like that there are multiple ways to send audio to the car, including Bluetooth, AUX, and FM transmission. It’s also nice that the unit can be mounted on the dashboard without any complicated installation. It took less than 5 mins to install right onto the dash. Please make sure to align it correctly as it will be hard to remove if the sticky part is placed down incorrectly. For the price, this is a practical upgrade for an older vehicle that doesn’t already have a modern infotainment system. Just keep in mind that it’s a portable display, so it won’t look as integrated as a factory-installed touchscreen. Overall— Great value, easy to use, and a simple way to modernize an older.

Awesome upgrade to my early 00's car. Seriously easy to use and set up. The monitor is good quality and bright. I've been using it with Android Auto mode and it makes everything so easy. I can voice reply to texts and easily split the screen between music and navigation.

Easy to set up, but hiding wires takes effort. Screen is responsive. Wireless CarPlay works great. Audio is very good—but FM is weak, AUX/Bluetooth is better. Mounting is very easy hoping it will last long. Very good for budget upgrade for older cars.

This one isn't a dash cam or a combo dash cam and multimedia. It's purely GPS/multimedia. If you're looking for a backup camera + this, consider "REXING W1 Multimedia Receiver W/ Backup Camera" or "Rexing CP DUO 686" They include various ways to connect this directly into your car including USB, FM Transmitter, or AUX. If your car is crazy old, it has an aux input and even ancient head units often have some sort of aux input. You can pull your dash open, reach it, run an extra wire (purchase separately), They include a cig lighter attachment to power that also includes a usb-c you can use to power your phone. They include a tool to help route wires. The clips to attach the wires could be better. Pros =able to do voice to text =I wish this also included a rear dash cam but above they have some other models that do. = Great touchscreen response Cons =need some darker night settings This does not include a suction mount. If you go to their website and look up "suction mount" you can find them for about $10. Without the suction mount, you only are faced with dash mount which to me is the worst option. I'm a huge Rexing fan and have picked up over 10+ items. All of the dash cams for my 4 cars have been Rexing, I can overall recommend them as a company. My truck is from 2017. It has a tiny little screen that does nothing. They want like $3,000 to upgrade to the latest version, and you have to open the dash and do days of work. That's not worth it! This is an easy upgrade.
