This device is very easy to set up and use. We have had some critters in the garden so wanted to see what type of animals they were. This device works very well in this case. The only wish is that it had bluetooth to connect to a phone or computer to download the pictures wirelessly.

Tried this camera for a couple days and we are not impressed. It sure looks impressive when you open the box, but that's about where the good impression ends. The directions are vague and lacking and I thought this had a rechargeable battery, but come to find out it is only an AC plug. It takes 8 AA batteries. I fumbled through the set up and went out in my backyard to tie it to a tree. With our first tray, it took a few pictures of us setting it up, but that was it. Not a single picture was taken after we set it up and we come out into the backyard a lot. We have to walk our dog on a leash in the backyard to take her out and it didn't capture a single instance of that. The second day was slightly better, It took pics of us setting it back up in the yard, and even took a couple of pics of my wife tending to her plants, but it didn't capture anything else. No dog walks or anything. Very disappointed in this camera.

I have really enjoyed the use of this in and around the trails that are on a property that I manage. It is great seeing the types of animals like coyotes and skunks that travel the game trails. Everything you need to get started here is included except and SD card. I chose a 128GB SD card. Hope this review helps you!

My son received as a gift. Worked fine until it needed new batteries. Then it stopped working - 9 months after purchase. Is within warranty period but Rexing will not do anything about it without a receipt. It was a gift for my son, from his grandparents. I provided the documentation I have that shows it was purchased from best buy, and when, and the item number. But Rexing will not make this right without a receipt. Therefore, I cannot recommend the product or the company.

I could not get this to work, and I called and emailed the company with no response. I returned it. Avoid this item.
