Easy install for me some people might want to spend the money to have it installed professionally

I have always used my V1P Pro so I tried to make a comparison between the two. I love my V1P pro especially now due to simplicity. The R4-RD may be a more involved install, but it performs excellent! Highly recommend a dash cam in general but Rexing keeps coming up with good ones!

This is a great product with HD recording. The video quality is very clear, and the setup was simple. It gives me peace of mind while I'm out on the road.

This Dashcam has two additional lens (left and right sides) monitoring a big angle of view around the car. I can choose different recording time formats whenever I use it in driving. I enjoy to use it every day.

As a rideshare driver, you can never have too many cameras! This four-channel camera covers all angles inside and outside your vehicle. Great job, Rexing! Safety and peace of mind all in one!

This is quite the amazing dashcam with 360 degree recording of the front rear and both sides. I feel a lot better having this in my car than other dash cams that only record the front and rear.

I absolutely love my Rexing R4-RD dash cam! From the moment it was installed, it has given me so much peace of mind on the road. The 360° coverage with four cameras means I’m always capturing everything around my vehicle — front, rear, side, and even cabin views — all in clear 1080p HD. The built-in motion parking monitor gives me confidence that my car is being watched even when I’m not around, and the GPS & Wi-Fi features make transferring footage and reviewing drives so easy with the Rexing Connect app. The video quality is crisp, setup was straightforward, and the peace of mind this provides is worth every penny. The Rexing R4-RD is a solid choice. Its standout feature is definitely the four-channel recording system. The two side cameras that cover your windows are a massive win for catching people who might side-swipe you or ding your door in a parking lot. The included 64 GB SD card should be big enough for most but you can use a larger one (up to 256 GB) if you want. Setting it up is actually one of the best parts because it comes with an OBD port power cable. Instead of pulling apart your car’s dashboard to mess with the fuse box or splicing wires, you just plug it into the same port a mechanic uses for diagnostics, and you’re good to go. This was my first dash cam that used the OBD port and I really like that convenience. The night vision is surprisingly clear too; the interior and side cameras use infrared lights so they can see in total darkness, which means you’ll actually be able to tell what happened if someone messes with your car at 2:00 AM. Plus, having GPS built-in is a nice touch because it automatically stamps your speed and location onto the video without you having to buy extra equipment. However, there are definitely some trade-offs to keep in mind. The biggest gripe for me is the mobile app. While it’s fine for basic stuff, trying to download large video clips over Wi-Fi is very slow and clunky compared to more expensive dash cams I've used. Also, this is only a 1080p system - which is plenty clear for seeing what happened in an accident but it isn't good enough to read a license plate that isn't directly in front of you. The physical build is also a bit lacking - mostly lightweight plastic. More expensive units do feel a bit more sturdy. Also, while the front cameras are easy to install, you still have to run a long wire to the back window for the rear camera, which is always a bit of a chore regardless of which brand you buy. Overall, it’s a great dash cam that provides total coverage - and you can't beat the price.

I’ve been using the Rexing R4-RD for a few weeks now, and it’s a massive relief to finally have a setup that covers every angle without a mess of wires. The standout feature is definitely the four-lens system; having a 360° view of the cabin and the sides of the car, in addition to the road ahead, feels like having a personal security detail. Setting it up was surprisingly straightforward, and the unit itself is sleek enough that it doesn’t distract me while I’m driving. The video quality at 1080p is crisp and reliable, which is exactly what you want if you ever need to pull footage for an insurance claim. I’ve found the built-in GPS to be a huge plus for logging my speed and routes directly onto the clips. The app control is also a nice touch—it’s way easier to just download a clip to my phone and show someone what happened rather than fumbling with a tiny microSD card on the side of the road. What really gives me peace of mind, though, is the motion parking monitor. Knowing the camera is watching for bumps or movement while I’m away from the car makes leaving it in busy lots much less stressful. For the price, it’s a solid, all-in-one peace of mind package that performs exactly how a modern dash cam should. It’s definitely a "set it and forget it" kind of tool that I’m glad I have in my corner.

This dash cam is a bit pricey, but it includes a wealth of features that all of my other dash cams are missing. I put this in my Xterra. The front camera FOV covers the entire front of the truck, fender to fender. The two sides can be positioned to split the middle interior, while also providing perfect blind spot coverage. It is a bit large, which I don't mind; however, if this were to be put in a smaller sedan or coupe it may be an annoyance. The included WiFi helps to get the videos off of the camera, but sometimes the app was a bit finicky for me. It did always work, but as sometimes slow to connect. I think I would prefer to just eject the microSD and put it straight into my PC. The Parking Mode sensor functionality works great. I was able to lightly lean into my truck and it began recording a 5min video. You do need to tap into the correct fuse for this to work properly though if you don't use the OBD port cable. It is not 4K, but I was able to clearly capture the plates of other vehicles within around 20ft of me during the day and around 12ft at night (when dark and headlights are facing me). Overall, this has been the best "peace of mind" purchase for my truck. I feel better both while driving, and when my truck is parked out front.

Yet again, Rexing proves they are a solid contender in the Dash Cam marketplace. Very robust design packed with features, and nothing you won't use.

I've long had Rexing dash cams, and I continue to go back to them, because they've always been reliable, year after year. It has a number of features that I've come to love, like the parking monitor, which starts recording if there's any vibration detected, even with the car parked. For me, this constituted an upgrade because I previously just had the forward-facing camera, but the 4-channel recording is next level, and really gives a holistic picture of what's happening at any given moment. I love it.

The Rexing R4-RD “4 Channel” 1080p Dash Cam is a perfect upgrade to my “2 channel” Rexing Dash Cam. Whether in the parking or GPS mode this new Dash Cam literally covers both the interior and outside of my 2008 Mercedes S550 with very clear 360° video recordings. It very easily reads license plates. What really stands out with this Dash Cam is the OBD2 power adapter. There is no need for a hard wire kit or cigarette lighter power. Overall the R4-RD is a game changer with 4 cameras, a super responsive 360° parking monitor, an OBD2 power adapter and easy to use setup and configuration Menus and Toggles. Installing this Dash Cam was a breeze. Thanks Rexing for a superior product.

I bought this dash cam to upgrade one of my old dash cams. I like the 4-channel settings providing a 360 degree view around my car, which is much better than the 2-channel dash cam I had with side views totally missing. The recorded video is not as high resolution as my another 4K cam, but I believe a broader view showing more about what is happening is usually more important than a high resolution on a specific view. It has a parking mode supporting recording in parking lot and it is powered by the OBD port, so installation is very easy. However, if you already have a device connected to OBD (like some GPS tracker devices), you need to either stop using that feature or buy an OBD adapter to support both. Everything is good by far. Will continue checking the features and functionalities of this new product.

I've been using Rexing products for years now. It's great to see that they're coming out with new models. My wife and I are having a baby soon, so I thought about upgrading our dashcam. This one has a ton of great features that gives us more peace of mind while driving around the family

I finally pulled the trigger on the Rexing R4-RD and honestly, it’s a beast. If you’re like me and paranoid about someone side-swiping you or what’s happening inside the cabin, this thing is a lifesaver. Most "360" cams are just two wide lenses, but this has 4-channel recording. It sees everything—front, back, and the sides. The radar motion detection is super smart. It doesn’t just record random trees blowing in the wind; it actually picks up when someone is messing around the car. Surprisingly easy to get going. The app works well with my phone, which is usually where these things fail. Definitely grab a hardwire kit if you want that 24/7 parking protection to work properly without killing your battery. Overall, it’s a bit of an investment, but for the amount of coverage you get, it’s totally worth it. 10/10 would recommend if you want to feel protected on the road.
