I bought this for my brother as a gift. He installed it immediately and hasn't complained since.

Not exactly the best camera system for car has lots of complicated buttons and switches and has already failed after a year and a 1/2 fortunately I had the extended coverage

The Rexing dash cam is great I had a problem with the first camara I got with the micro usb plug for the rear camara appereantly when you plug it in you cant push the plug all the way in or you will damage the plug however I got a replacement right away. and sd card that comes with the camara dosent work the one for the first camara didn't work and for the replacement camara eather however the camara works great you just got to be careful when you plug the rear camara not to push the plug all the way in on the main unit and on the rear camara. There also needs to be an option to deactivate loop recording.

I bought this camera a few weeks back. Installation was simple and the hardwire kit allows continuous runtime and it does not drain the car battery at all. 128GB SD allows for about 16 hours of constant record time. Fortunately have not tested the impact reaction but the GPS speed tracking is great! Front and rear camera have great daytime view. Front camera has decent night view. Rear camera captures objects but not in full clarity. I would recommend 10/10!

Ease of operations and installation. Chose to hard wire with the kit. Impressed with quality and product.

Wanted a dual dash cam, but they were either super expensive, or not a HD rear camera. This was a great price point for 1080p front camera, and 720p rear. I like how the front camera mounts flat against the windshield. I recommend tossing the double sided adhesive tape that comes with it, and use Gorilla double sided tape instead. It will stay secure with this tape. Setup is simple. The menu is self explanatory. Doesn't come with a memory card, but it's recommended to use a class 10 high endurance card, for resistance under extreme heat or cold. I would also suggest that you hard wire the unit when installing. Makes for a much cleaner look, and easier operation. Plus, it frees up your cigarette lighter/USB for other devices. You'll need to purchase a hardwire kit from Best Buy specific to the V1LG. Front camera video quality is excellent. Even at night, the picture is still quite decent. The rear camera takes pretty good video in the day, but is useless at night. Again, for the price, this is acceptable. No wifi/bluetooth capabilities, or "parking mode" allowing for recording if it detects a fender bender while parked, but this would significantly increase the price. Very happy with purchase.

It's a good camera. Still use to this day. Also purchased one for sister-in-law. That one may or may not be working. We don't leave ours on the windshield while parked in the sun.

camera fine works great but the mounting tape not any good and the screen can't be view where i was able to mount it like looking at a laptop screen from the side. wish the screen had some kind of tilt and pan option

I was excited to receive my Rexing V1LG dash cam. Really looking forward to watching video of my car on the drag strip. Instructions were straightforward. Comprehensive and great illustrations. I hooked my camera up as instructed. Tested it out in the garage. Pulled the SD card, downloaded the software to my laptop, watched my first video. All good. Then I took it for a ride. The red recording light was flashing but then quit after about two minutes 50 seconds. So I turned it off and back on. The recording light came on again for about 30 seconds. Repeated the process and the recording light came on for about 10 seconds. These 3 recordings were corrupted and I couldn't watch any of them. I tried to reformat the card in the device. It didn't work. I reformatted the card on my laptop. Got an error message when I put it in the device. Reformatted in the device one more time. Now things are working again. I haven't gone back out for a test drive. Stay tuned! So far I haven't been able to make a connection between my laptop and the device using the USB cable (provided). So plan on handling the tiny SD card often. Also, be careful to not lay the device on your front seats. It gets very hot! I realized this the first time I pulled it from the windshield mount. Put it on a hard surface to avoid melting things.

Great camera to watch over my family and I. Recommend hard wiring so it will record while parked.

Rexing is the worst dashcam I've ever had. Typically within a few months you have to have the cord replaced, then within a year the dashcam starts cutting on and off until you just unplug it. Every rexing I have used does this same thing. From the low end to the higher end. Worthless Currently trying to find a better product.

This camera comes on but stops recording when ever it wants to just found out trying to give cops a copy of a speeder thru school zone and found out the camera stopped recording from August the camera comes on but no recording I would not waste my money on a camera like this where when I need it as evidence it will not work
