I really like this product. It is useful for most drivers.
Pros:
1) Easy to install in a car. I was afraid of doing it because of the wiring. However, once I started it, it was so easy. It only took me less than 15 minutes.
2) Good viewing angle.
3) Good quality
Cons:
1) I had to return my first one because it was a defective one.
2) The manual is OK, and it can be better.

Verified Purchase
First: Once you understand how to use the app on iPhone, then it works as advertised. You can download video to your iPhone which is what I wanted.
Second: Rexing had offered a rebate if I left a review, which I did and they never followed through with the rebate.
Third: The dash cam does a great job. But, the adhesive they send with it is horrible. Save yourself some time and trouble and purchase some 30lb double sided tape like Gorilla Tape or 3M.
Fourth: Make sure you use High Endurance MicroSD Cards. The one Rexing sends is not a quality card. I recommend doing some research for yourself and find out what the Manufacture of memory cards recommends for Dash Cams!
Fifth: The font used to indicate speed, location, time, is so small that it can't be read on anything but a very large screen. If you use the Bluetooth feature to download video to your iPhone, you won't be able to show the officer your speed. Get on YouTube and compare different Dash Cams video, font size for speed/location and operating temps found in the specs section. Rexing makes models better suited for hot summers/vehicles than the V1 Gen 3.
Update: Despite using the latest Firmware, the unit can not handle a 256 GB MicroSD Card. In fact, when I talked to Rexing about the issues, David at Rexing blamed the 256 GB card for over heating. He wrote:
"This is David following up with your phone call earlier today about the 256GB memory card not continuing to loop record overnight. I talked to the technical team about this issue and they believed as well that it is a issue with that memory card. When you have the dashcam always recording it will create more heat, which could make the card temporarily inoperable if it was partially defective upon arrival. Because you have the latest firmware version and the 64GB card works fine on your dashcam, we believe that if you return that memory card and get a replacement one you will not have any issues"
So at night, when temps drop way down, the unit will overheat? Not during the day, but at night? Next time I purchase a new vehicle, I will be doing more research on Dash Cams... Rexing isn't looking that great!
The fact remains that their latest Firmware stated specifically to address issues with 256 GB Cards - well, it doesn't look like it has solved the problem.
Update:
In July, talked with David at Rexing about issues and the fact that the unit would stop recording. He tried to blame the SanDisk High Endurance 256 GB card that I told him was being used. He then sent me an Email stating that Rexing USA recommended SanDisk High Endurance cards. David didn't listen to one thing that I had said and gave me the run-around.
In August, I talked with Jessica about the same problem occurring with SanDisk High Endurance 64 GB card. She asked for the Amazon links so that Rexing USA could actually buy and test them... and they will get back to me whenever that happens!
As you read this, keep in mind that I have Rexing USA's "CLAIMED" 18 month warranty. Does this in any way sound as if Rexing USA is standing behind their product or honoring their warranty?

Rexing needs to list the sd cards that will work with the camera. I bought a 64 gig that matched the type I was supposed to get however it doesn’t work. Also the instructions in the manual state the max card is a 32 gig but it’s actually a 128 gig. I contacted rexing and was told what kind of sd card to buy. Don’t know if the thing works or not as I have to spend another $40 for a compatible sd card

The front camera works well and has excellent resolution. The rear camera resolution is not very good. It's easy to set up and use. I had the camera professionally hard-wired to my car and it's on 24/7. Best Buy's instillation was great. Hopefully it's video will never be needed.

2 cameras. Rear uses proprietary extension to mount (voyager 4 conductor sub-mini style) and you have potentially 20 feet of slack to hide. Newer models use a different cable. Will likely end up using a "customised" edition of included cable.
I didn't want a viewable dashcam all the time, so I mounted high behind rearview windshield mirror. Can't hardly see display, but soft flashing button tells me it is recording. In case need to review an event, is relatively simple to remove from mount. Dashcam doesn't shake like suction mount versions do, rock solid. Until it sees 98°F Texas temps and hotter interior temps. After couple of weeks, adhesive let go from window. Pushed back on, has remained. Perhaps adhesive needs to be hot prior to initial application? Adhesive is a 3M authentic product, no skimp here.
As mentioned, only irritation is rear camera cable. Everything else is rock solid, as expected.

I chose this Dashcam because I wanted one was low profile & Not an Eye soar like ones that hang down like gps, I also only was interested in one that also had the rear camera, I don’t know why anyone would buy a Dashcam that didn’t have a rear camera, in most cases the rear camera is going to be the one that records accidents that’s aren’t your fault... I’m very happy with it, I was expecting to pay around $200, you can beat the price $129,99 ...

I bought these for two cars, mine and my grandson's. The picture quality is great and the wide viewing angle is a big plus. My grandson had an accident and it was great being able to see exactly what happened. Plus the rear facing camera is a BIG plus in case you ever get hit from behind.

Takes good video with forward camera. Rear camera is very poor VGA. Adhesive does not hold up in hot sun on windshield. Optional GPS tracker works well.

My first foray into dash cams for my vehicle

After doing some research, and wanting something that was in the middle of great capture and decent price, I decided on this. It was a toss up between this and the V1, but the temperature resistant thing on the box sold me. Living in Wisconsin, we had hot humid days, and bitter cold days as well, so that is a + for me to have.
I did NOT go the hardwire route. I have a 2015 Ford Fusion, and just getting my radar detector hard wired caused the tech problems (something to do with the internal wiring). After reading about the issues others were having with the 3M tape, I was a little hesitant to use it myself, but so far, after a week, it has been holding just fine, even with temps in the high 80s, low 90s (hotter in direct sunlight).
The included wire for the main unit was long enough to reach the power socket, going around the edges of the windshield. I have it set to shut itself off, as to not cause any unnecessary batter drain when I shut the car off, and so far no issues with that. This holds up to a 128GB micro-sd card, which is what I have installed as well. The settings allow you to choose what quality you want to record in, and how long each segment is, so once it reaches that mark, it starts a new file. At first I had it set to 10 min, but holy moley, some files were almost 1GB in size, for the resolution and time I have it set. With a 128 card inside, space is not an issue, but that just short of shocked me. But I will say, the clarity this records in, is impressive!
The rear camera, on the other hand, is pretty poor on this model. The wire was long enough to reach my back window, but I put it near the door sills, as I did not want to mess with the molding around the top of the doors. Anyway, the quality is poor, and at the moment I do not remember what the setting is. It does have "night vision" recording, but that is also grainy, and as odd as this sounds, even in daylight, it seems like this records in black and white.
Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. Yeah its a little larger then other brands, and its mostly made of plastic, it still does what its supposed to do. It records sounds, has a wide angle main camera, and collision detection. The 2.4" LCD screen, while nice, is awkwardly placed and hard to see, when mounted to the windshield. The last part was the only negative I can find with this!

I wanted a dash cam for the "just in case" scenario. It has a pretty good picture. I was actually able to watch a golf ball fly off a course I was driving by on the highway at about 55mph, hit my windshield. I didn't think that the speed of the ball and my speed, that the dash cam would actually pick it up. It did. the only complaint I have about it, is trying to download the video. It should be a little easier than it is.

I was little iffy because of the price (seemed too cheap), but the front camera has GREAT quality, recording everything neatly. Even the sound! I listen to some pretty loud metal, but the camera picks up on that AND the roar of my engine. The back camera is lower quality, but it can pick up license plates pretty clearly, so I'm pretty impressed. I'd highly recommend this camera. The only con would be the mount.... you have to buy the auction cup separately. It comes with an M3 stick mount (which I didn't mind using because I have to replace my windshield anyways). You can also buy separate wiring from Rexing to hardwire the dashcam to your car of you want 24/7 recording.
I have short videos posted on my Insta Tetra7bill. Feel free to check up the samples since they cant be posted here.

This device is great. The only two things I have an issue with is 1) the rear camera is low resolution so it doesn't record license plates and 2) the rear camera is on a folded piece of plastic so you don't have a lot of movement to adjust it. Plus recently I was rear ended and the camera ended up pointing to the clouds. In addition, customer service is the best.

Been using this dash cam for about 4 months now and so far it's been pretty good. Main gripe is the adhesive doesn't stay on the windshield when it gets pretty hot and with Summer on the way it's only gonna get worse. You can get an adapter for it which is just a suction cup mount so you don't run the risk of the adhesive getting bad.
