I bought this for my wife, but she got a new car with wireless CarPlay so now my daughter has it. In both cars, VW and Honda, It has frequent connection issues or long delays, I actually tried it in my jeep for a bit and it had the same issues. When it works it is great, but can be a little annoying. My daughter now doesn't use it as it is not worth the headache.

The product works fine enough but there is a short lag (1.5 seconds) between changing something on the phone and it happening on the radio. Changes made on the radio tend to be a little more streamlined. Sometimes Bluetooth connects when you don’t want it to while wearing headphones 2020 F150

At first product works great but after awhile it would start to make my head unit glitch out and act funny. I put up with it for awhile but I was just not pleased with it. I have a 2020 gmc sierra that I was using it on. When it did connect to my phone it worked great but it would not allow me to use my steering wheel controls to change the songs etc. Sometimes I found that it would work not very rarely. It could just be with my vehicle that it was acting up. I just did not want to deal with it.

No Lag, very small, very easy to install and super fast.

Product works as advertised but ive notcied a delay of about 1 second, which may not be a deal brraker for many but once youve noticed it you cant ignore it. Ive also noticed some connectivity issues where my iphone wont connect right away and it will take a while to diwconnect after exiting vehicle.

I can’t be too hard on the device—it does what it claims—but there is wuite a delay when switching between songs, having Siri read out text messages, and having GPS maps update quickly. We also had an issue where turn-by-turn directions wouodnt work. Tried both Google Maps and Apple Maps. This was experianced across two diffrent iPhone 14 Pro’s both on the latest version of iOS and these issues didnt happen when directly connected via cable to our car. Unfortunate that it wont work for us, but it may work for you.

I am using this on my 2023 Volvo XC60. At first it was very good. Connected each time and worked as expected. After a few weeks, I noticed, it would not connect after being away from the car a few hours. The only way to achieve the connection was to unplug it for a few minutes- defeats the whole purpose ! When it works, it works well. Wish I could figure out the problem.

It does what it says on the tin and adds wireless Apple CarPlay to vehicles that only have wired Apple CarPlay. It can be a bit fiddly at times like if you walk away from the car after it's already connected or if it's really hot outside, but it works great about 95% of the time, and never drops out once it's actually connected.

Rick seamlessly, so my phone can stay in my pocket when I get in the car and I don’t have to worry about the charging port getting even looser than it is. One downside is that it doesn’t announce directions iMaps. The volume of music lowers, but there are no directions that are audible.

Was having trouble with my ‘22 Honda CR-V with a wired connection and olugged this in to see if it would solve some of the isues. It solved one but created several more. Steering wheel controls dont work and anything involving voice controls are useless. Using it for navigation and music works reasonably well.

It works great, but occasionally it causes the screen to glitch, creating pixelated artifacts. On rare occasion, connection is dodgy at best. It helps to have the phone in direct line of sight of the adapter.

Does what it's supposed to do. While there is a slight delay when switching songs, the pro of not needing to have it plugged in does outweigh that con. I have also experienced an issue in which the screen does not properly load. Not sure why it does it, but when resetting it works as normal.

It works as advertised. The connection is a bit clunky at first and it doesn’t go seamlessly between multiple iPhones. You have to go into Bluetooth and reconnect if someone else connected in a previous drive. The cable comes loose at times and disrupts the connection. Overall, however, I’m happy with it since I bought it as a deal of the day. Wouldn’t recommend at full price.

Very good item if you want wireless car play however there is about a 1 second delay when streaming anything through it. So if you press next on a song, you will wait about 1 second for the song to skip, same delay if watching a video or anything.

Great product, works mostly as advertised. Only issue I have is that it does not work with my car's steering wheel skip/replay song buttons, I need to cycle songs either with my phone or car display.

Works good, sometimes it disconnects and won’t sync to the vehicle.

It works well and almost no latency. I removed one star because it has to be unplugged at night otherwise your phone keep trying to latch on to the signal.

Ok product. Was using it to DoorDash but when I would get in and out of the vehicle, periodically it would disconnect and I would have to unplug and plug it back in to reconnect. Sometimes I would have to reset in the settings to get it to talk to the system.

I use this product on a daily basis on my hour commute to work. Works perfectly with my 2018 Kia Optima!! Woild recommend to anyone looking to ditch their wired carplay.
