Olivier is satisfyingly snarky as Richard III, but you don't need to take my word for it....it's an acknowledged seminal performance! The real draw here for those who know the film via the several VHS and previous dvd release is that the new restoration and transfer to BluRay simply makes it a freshly minted experience! Colors are vibrant and accurate (within the souped up Technicolor palette) and the improved resolution lifts several layers of haze off previous versions!
