I am a gym teacher and I bought this video for "Cardio Day" with my middle school classes. Naturally there were some smirks and guffaws when the kids saw Simmons decked out in his shorty-shorts and tank top, but they soon settled in and had a blast mimicking and following along with Simmons and crew through the whole video. There is a set of exercises/stretches done with chairs, and since we had so few chairs in the gym, some of the kids were using each other as chairs. If anyone is in this same situation, I highly recommend this video for a gym class activity. I would also recommend that you view it prior to using it in class so you too can follow along and help guide the kids. If you are someone just looking for a good workout video, I'd still say this will meet your needs. I followed along in each of the 6 classes I taught, and felt great the following day. The exercises/activities are easy to do, despite Simmons moving through them pretty quickly, and can be done almost anywhere.

You get a good workout dancing to the oldies and Richard Simmons is fun to exercise with. If you have never exercised with Richard I recommend this DVD. It is my favorite.
