First off, this is not a cartoon for children, probably 16 and above and even then, they will still not get the depth or understand all the science that is in the show. Its looks simple and dumb but the deeper you dive into the science and subtext and theories of this show, the funnier and more enjoyable the show is and you applaud the creators of the show for giving us such a masterpiece of entertainment. This is the second season of the show that leaves you with cliff hanger that makes you desperate for a season 3 to come quickly or makes you wish you were part of a galaxy where tv seasons come almost immediately. This week is season 3, can't wait.

Didn’t watch Rick and Morty when it first came out. Started watching it on Cartoon Network Adult Swim website when they started the marathon stream. So glad I did! The show is perfect. The writing is really good. The characters development and voice acting couldn’t be better. Can’t think of one bad episode. Wasn’t really looking to buy this as I have watched this many times over, but Best Buy had such a good price I couldn’t resist. Looking forward to the commentary tracks and how it’s going to look in HD. Do yourself a favor, and watch this show

Rick & Morty is my favorite show in years, and I couldn't wait for season 2. Its got some great guest voices and the plots are more insane. Keep an ear out for Werner Herzog as a guest actor amidst a menagerie of aliens, and Jemain Clement as a singing cloud of alien gas. The body count is higher, the jokes are raunchier, and the family becomes more interesting this season. Lots of memorable scenes, quotable lines, and truly bizarre situations that will leave you laughing.

As a huge fan of the first season, I waited with anticipation for season 2, and it did not disappoint. I would go so far as to claim that it is superior to the first with respect to creativity and the direction that the show has taken. It took efforts to open up its own universe much more than season 1 did, to great effect. The season 2 set is one disc, and each episode comes with at least one commentary (some have 2, the second being a guest commentary from other pop culture icons). A smattering of additional special features rounds out the disc. An excellent buy overall.

Ever since the first episode of Rick & Morty, the show has been destined to be a classic. It is instantly quotable, outrageous, entertaining, thought provoking and surprisingly deep. On the surface it seems like a crude adult cartoon but there are layers upon layers in this show. Season 2 continues to outrageousness of Season 1 and builds on the world and lives of the characters. Excellent, tongue in cheek humor, preposterous situations, exemplary writing and wonderful voice acting make thus one of the best shows running.

I thought the first season of Rick & Morty was brilliant, so understand that when I say that season 2 makes season 1 look like garbage, it is very high praise. This show is pure genius, blending high concept sci-fi and low brow humor, sometimes hiding existential profundities among goofy premises and crude jokes. Episode 4 of season 2 is one of the best single episodes of any sci-fi series ever, and the season ending cliffhanger finally gets us into some overarching continuity. Highly, highly recommended.

Rick And Morty season two continues from the moment season one ended, and the series builds on the previous storylines with great callbacks to characters and stories from season one. This show is at its best when it is giving you bitter humor wrapped around some actual sweet sentimentality, and that builds over the season to a real downer of a season finale that will leave you antsy for more. Well worth a look for Adult Swim fans and really anyone who likes sharp comedic writing.

If you haven't seen season 1, please start with Season 1. There is a great amount of story that ties each episode together. Although you do not necessarily have to watch them in order, there is an underlying story that ties them together from season 1-3. I personally love how this dvd provides the virtual copy of this as well so we can watch it whenever we want. If you're questioning if you like Rick and Morty, buy season 1 first!

So good. As good as Season One was, this is even better. If this is even a little bit your type of thing, this will rapidly become your favorite show. If it is not your type of thing, it may become your type of thing. Can't recommend this enough. They're asking if I'd recommend this to a friend. I'm clicking yes, but honestly my friends already know about this show, and they love it, some even more than I do. It's why we're friends.

Another hilarious season of Rick & Morty filled with crazy characters and hilarious adventures. If you liked season 1 there is no doubt you'll love season 2. My first experience with Rick and Morty was randomly coming across season 3's "Pickle Rick" episode. I went backwards from there immediately and watched both season 1 and season 2. Now if Best Buy would only start stocking ROY in their video games section!
