I'm happy as a sci-fi geek. Riddick is one of my favorite characters.

Riddick, the latest chapter of the groundbreaking saga that began with 2000's hit sci-fi film Pitch Black and 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick reunites writer/director David Twohy (A Perfect Getaway, The Fugitive) and star Vin Diesel (the Fast and Furious franchise, xXx). Diesel reprises his role as the antihero Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy. The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy.

I really enjoyed watching these movies! Vintage diesel is terrific!

If you are looking to catch up on Riddick before watching the latest movie, or just love Riddick like I do, and want to get them on Blu-ray, then this is definitely the way to go! The plot and acting were never stellar, but the Riccick movies are solid sci-fi action films all the way! This set comes with Pitch Black and the Chronicles of Riddick on separate Blu-ray discs, though I was disappointed to find that the animated film was only on DVD. I honestly would have considered buy them separately if I realized this ahead of time, but with the sale price, you still couldn't beat it!

This movie, while not an award winner, is a great weekend watch. When I watch this movie, I wish it could be possible to be this awesome. Ha! I prefer the 2nd movie over the 1st; I have even been late to work in the morning due to this movie.

Always liked the Riddick movies lots of action and decent story line. Like the special effects. I am a big sci fi fan and these are some of my fav movies

Great price for the set of all three Riddick movies. A must have for someone who wants to see them again before catching the newest in the theater.

The movies themselves are good and it's a good value getting them in one package unless you're looking for lots of bonus material.
