Guerilla warfare

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being from Missouri, I am somewhat biased in my feelings towards Ride with the Devil but I do feel it has legit reasons for a 5 star rating. I was impressed by the attention to detail in depicting the Civil War in Missouri, even down to the language. Many young actors are featured such as Tobey Maguire, Jim Caviezel, and Simon Baker. Jewel does a good job as well.

Highly underrated film, great new HD transfer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The new Criterion HD transfer of this film is simply gorgeous. I have the DVD edition of this movie and the difference between that and the Criterion Blu-Ray edition is night and day. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful. Whereas with the DVD, I focused on the plot and acting, with this Blu-ray edition, I couldn't stop admiring the photography.
