Great quality, great battery life...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Low frequencies are absent on the default EQ preset. I don’t like beats level of bass by any means but the lows on these were not great at all on the default preset. I use the second preset for most games and it has plenty of bass but I have noticed in some instances the bass sounds overdriven on this preset. Sound is a matter of taste though so take this for what it is, an opinion. Battery life is excellent. I’ve used it for 6 hours and it still says level is high. I love the fact that there is no software to download for these headphones. Just plug and play. Some may think that is a negative but in this world of infinite customization, it’s refreshing to have something to just turn on and use. Also the included Dolby Atmos code is nice. I like the surround sound it produces.

Decent quality, lack of config options
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset has good sound quality, and it's light, comfortable, and adjustable. The one big downside is that there aren't config options to do things like change function of buttons, or the biggest issue, no way to turn off the side tone (when you hear yourself in your earphones when talking through the mic). I couldn't deal with that so I returned it, but the audio quality itself was great.

Excellent headset for SKYPE and Zoom
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound, great mic, fits well, blocks noise, long charge and easy to use especially for the price. I really shopped around and bought it to replace previous headset that stopped working. Glad I did

Plantronics RIG 800HD Headset - PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this on a fantastic sale/clearance. I use this same headset for my XBOX and LOVE it. I've had MANY headsets, and these have by FAR been my most favorite overall choice. I'm guessing the PC only version is being phased out, as my XBOX variant supports PC as well with the switch on the back of the adaptor. If you can find one on sale, and need a wireless solution for PC you can't go wrong here. Durable. Up to 24 hours of battery life. Good balance on sound stage. Overall, great headset - ESPECIALLY if on sale. Astro can't touch there for the money.

perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had these for a year and just getting around to making a review. First off these are nearly unbreakable. I was a little worried at first as these don't fold or anything but I've dragged them all over in and out of bags and cases and never an issue. at worst an ear cup pops off and you just pop it back in. sound quality is solid with a lot of volume. don't buy these thinking they are special "dolby atmos", as there are no extra speakers or anything just software emulation but that does work well also.

Best gaming headphones!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The RIG 800 series are just awesome... I’ve owned a dozen different pair from $50 to $300 and these are by far my favorite. Super easy to hook up and sync, works on Mac and PC... Very light and comfortable... the ear pads are so soft and breatheable so your ears won’t go numb or sweat! The sound quality is great and includes a free Dolby Atomos driver download from Microsoft to use with your headphones. Winner!

Extremely comfortable.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the most comfortable gaming headset I've ever had. The pressure that other headsets would put on my head and my ears just doesn't happen with this. I would have to bail out of gaming sessions sometimes after only an hour or two on my other headsets, just because it became uncomfortable to wear. In addition, the sound quality and build quality are great. I don't think I would ever go back to a wired headset after this.

Okay but ...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great and have had no complaints about hearing me. You get an access code to download Dolby Access. I was impressed with the Dolby function. My only problem is the plastic cover over the speaker. At times the ear cushions causes the plastic to lay right against my ears. It is not comfortable. I wish the padding was a bit thicker and thus the four and not five stars.

feels a bit cheap for the price and music isn't gr
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.yes it's a having headset not really meant to be prime for music but that's doesn't mean it should suck at music. pros: easy setup, very comfortable, great in game sounds, decent music, dedicated wireless dongle. also if you game on other platforms you can get the dongle for that system at about 30 each making it a multi platform solution. cons: when the headset is off your PC does not recognize that you've disconnected it so you have to manually change your audio. also overall feels cheep and the adjustment options feel a bit frail (I would get the extra coverage). music quality is better than other more expensive headsets but at the price I still felt it lacking. (compared to A50 and steal headphones) I settled on the razer kraken tournaments after trying a bunch of different headphones but would stay with these if wireless was a requirement.

Great Quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Quality when it comes to sound. I wasn't a fan of it due to the playback audio not being able to be disabled, I looked on their website, and called customer service, no one know how to disable the playback. I'm coming from Turtle Beach PX3s that I've had since 2011 and still have today, they have playback but it's not as bad as these headphones. I ended up giving these to my girlfriend, she's loving them, personally wouldn't recommend if you don't like hearing your own voice as if you were talking to yourself, or having it pickup background noise such as someone dropping a pen on the ground then playing it back through your headset. TL:DR Headset had great sound quality, playback audio on the mic 3/10 and there's no way to disable it. Plantronics please add a way to turn it off, I would actually consider buying it again if there was a button to disable the playback.

Great headset
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset works wonderfully. I play games on my computer for multiple hours at a time, and this is my first headset that hasn’t hurt my ears while wearing it for long periods. The sound quality is great, and it’s adjustable in size. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Amazing headset for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works with PS4. Buy a used adapter to use on Xbox. I use with both systems and this is a great headset for the price (clearance). Great build and adjustable fit. I've worn it for hours without issue and the range is amazing.

Best gaming headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are amazing. It has a noise-canceling microphone. By moving the microphone up, it instantly mutes the mic automatically. The earmuffs are very soft and I can wear it for a really long time. The only negative thing I can say is just that to adjust the length, you have to pop the ear cup out and pop it back in on each side of the headset. You can only choose the top, middle or last level. You are only being limited to three levels. This is just a minor annoyance. However, overall this is a great value for a great headphone. BTW, the headphones are meant for PC which requires an optical cable. Instead, I plugged the receiver to my PS4 and it works great. To use it for your laptop or PC without an optical cable, get the receiver RIG 800HX used on eBay and pair it with the headphones. You will not regret getting this headphones!!!

amazing sounding headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound great especially with dolby enhanced sound. The wireless works great with PC but there is no Aux option which limits it's use and the mic will not work with xbox.
