Best controller for smaller hands
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is excellent for children or adults with very small hands. Works great, no input lag. Any headset with a 3.5mm jack works with it (bonus!) Buttons are responsive. Bumpers/triggers have a satisfying feel to them, not too springy, but also not too light. Feels well built. The only complaint I have is that the menu button is too close to the X/Y buttons. Several times I would accidentally activate it while playing. I thought it was my fat thumbs, but my petite girlfriend also experienced it, just not as often, If not for that, it would be a 5 star review, and I would still recommend it.

3 days of testing, pleasantly surprised
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a person that likes originality and big brand name products. For Xbox I like OEM Xbox controllers from Microsoft. For Nintendo, Nintendo controllers. PlayStation, official PlayStation controllers. I used to get MadCatz and other brand controllers for my GameCube because they were cheaper, but they pretty much all broken on me. Actually all of them did. Only my original brand name controllers lasted. But I have to say, so far for this RIG Nacon controller, the quality is there. I think over time, third party accessories have upped their production quality to produce good products at an affordable price. And it's not even just a second tier type of product--this controller in particular shines in its Dolby Audio. To have such an (in my opinion) advanced feature capability for a $50 controller is pretty impressive. They wanted to show off that they can produce good sound, and they weren't kidding. Not sure what kind of wizardry they did with their tech, but let's just say spatial audio is pretty darn impressive. I have no reason to give this 4 stars or lower because for the price you get a pretty high quality product. It's aesthetically simple in a good way and it gets the job done. it's great, and I look forward to continue using it for years to come!

Great controller for those with small hands.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great controller for kids. Not only is the grip size smaller but the buttons seem to be a bit larger than normal. I also like the top of the thumbsticks and wish my full sized controller had them. Dolby Atmos support is great for parents and kids as they can wear headphones with great sound and not bother the rest of the house while gaming. Being able to reprogram all the buttons via PC could come in handy as well.

Not Love at First Sight but that all Changed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thd RIG Nacon PRO Compact Controller for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One is very deceiving at first with a Playstation knockoff shape you would expect from that jungle website for $5 but boy was I wrong. This "PRO" compact controller is a definite pro at one thing, being compact. When I first help it, my flipper fingers felt out of place and right away thought it was a bad choice. Well, once I hopped into COD and started playing a round, within 30 seconds I my hands fell into a natural position which was way more comfortable than I would have ever thought. Playing for 2 hours straight, not once did I have to stretch my hands like I do with the Stock controller, Elite controller or the XSwap Thrustmaster controller. I would definitely agree with the PRO name in its price category, not a true Pro controller but not far off. This could have been a Pro controller easily by adding some quick swap Dpad and stick buttons and some inner paddle on the back for FPS games. I would pay the little extra for that and it would be my go to every game day. Amazing how well placed this controller feels and the button function is a legit match. The buttons, Dpad and joysticks are on point, feeling accurate and smooth at all times, again, would love to be able to swap styles and size. They placement for my adult male hands are just spot on with this controller. The wire is also long enough to reach for most setups in front of a big screen TV but it also works fine with my PC setup and I showed improvement with this controller right off the bat. I have to be honest, it is not the best controller out there but at this price point, it absolutely is the best out there. For an avid gamer or a beginner, I would not be afraid to buy this controller.

Good Lightweight Compact Controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Rig Nacon Pro Compact Xbox Controller is a really nice wired controller for Xbox and PC. It has a long (just under 10 feet) integrated usb cable, covered in nylon braided fabric. The controller feels really solid and well constructed yet it’s very lightweight (the wired connection saves weight of batteries). It features the standard Xbox offset stick configuration that you are probably used to. The sticks are smooth, responsive, and comfortable to use. It also has extra large face buttons. The face buttons and shoulder buttons are a bit too clicky for my taste (I prefer a bit softer response) but they work fine otherwise. The underside of the controller is textured for good grip. The size of the controller is good for small hands (especially for kids), yet not uncomfortable in my larger hands. The wired connection means no need for batteries which is always a plus for long gaming sessions. The wired connection also makes it easy to switch between devices like your Xbox console and windows laptop. Just plug and play with no need to mess with Bluetooth detection and connection. There is a stereo headphone jack on the bottom. By downloading the Dolby Atmos app from the Microsoft store on either your Xbox or Windows PC you can make the head phones plug and play, as the app automatically activates when you plug in your headphones. I don’t normally play with headphones, but maybe I should because you get a lot more subtlety to the audio, which is cool. Overall, this is a good, well built, and lightweight controller, especially if you have smaller hands.

A Great Controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My adult daughter loves this controller. Its smaller size allows her to handle the controller better as she has smaller hands. The braided cable also feels rugged and built to last. We checked out the customization software, and it is easy to use. The Dolby Atmos access is an excellent addition, it sounds great!

Reactive controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been wanting a wired controller like this and I’m excited to say that it’s everything I’ve wanted, expected in a controller. It’s reactive, responsive, the controls/joysticks are smooth and allow for quick play. The other buttons X,Y, etc. Are a bit larger as are the letters printed on them. The remote itself is comfortable, light in weight and connects quickly. Great wired remote!

Game On !!!!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this lil giant. The audio is stellar and helpful in multiplayer matches. The ATMOS changes the game. Very compact for better gameplay. Only downside was start and option buttons space horribly apart. But not a deal breaker. You'll love it

Misses the mark for me
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Advertised as 15% smaller than an original XBox controller but I find the size difference is barely noticable as I lined up the Nacon controller with an original and the only difference I could tell was the compact was slightly shorter front to back. As far as the feel in the hand, there is a little more contour with the grip making it a bit more comfortable to hold but when pressing the buttons the click is somewhat hollow sounding and the tactile feeling isn't the same pronounced as with the original making it feel cheap. In addition the triggers are not as pronounced as the original. There is a 2.5mm jack which supports a XBox compatible headset or even wired earbuds for that matter. I do like that you can install an app from the Windows store to be able to configure profiles for use with PC games. But my biggest disappointment is the cable. While it does have the quick disconnect to prevent tripping hazards the cord is extremely stiff. So in closing it’s okay but there are better out there. If you have smaller hands then the compactness might appeal to you but honestly with it in your hands you won’t notice much difference between a full sized controller. Price point makes it a decent alternative to other wired controllers. I give it 3 stars mainly because of the buttons and the cable.

I miss wireless but I get it
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When you use this controller the wire is cumbersome. There's no way arounfmd that fact. That said, the tracking and assignable button mapping makes this a fantastic controller for the hard-core gamer. The ergonomics fit well in my large hands and the material used is more than adequate. If you're a gamer this is a great option!

Best wired controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 3D Dolby atoms feature worked amazing. It really felt like I was inside of the games that I played. This is by far the best wired controller I have ever used. Most wired controllers I have used were faulty, had slow reaction time, the buttons would get stuck, and just didn't have a good feel while playing with them. But not only did this one feel comfortable, the reaction time was better than my wireless controllers. The adjustable trigger made playing first person shooters a lot easier and definitely improved gameplay. I would tell a friend that they need this controller if they want complete comfort, and a great gaming experience.

Not your typical Xbox shape
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked that the shape didn't feel like a wired Xbox controller. I also liked the large buttons and triggers. I didn't like that the analog stick was fussy. Some games were fine. Others felt like if I was not 100% perfect, I couldn't run at all. Decent length cable with break away. Just not one I'll use a lot.

It's got a capture button
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't have much to say negative or positive about this controller. It seems nicer for smaller hands, but I also don't think it feels appreciably more 'grippy' than a standard Xbox controller. Buttons are larger, but they almost feel chunky and aren't rounded. The cord is nice and long, but with that length comes weight. I don't understand why no one has the cord come out of the back or at least closer to the bottom, so the front of the controller doesn't have that pull. No batteries but isn't that the case for any wired controller? The standard 3.5MM jack for a headset is nice, but on the XBox one I couldn't tell much of a difference with Atmos enabled (maybe I wasn't playing the right games?). I also had issues with the headset (another RIG) being picked up for voice chat at times, which was something I thought would happen less with a completely wired setup. The thumbs sticks work well. It's got a capture button. So there's that.

Great fit!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a girl and have smaller hands. I find this controller to be perfect for me to reach all buttons. I prefer 1st person shooter games which use most of the buttons on the controller. My KD ratio has gone up since using this! I highly recommend!
