Honestly, the Ring Chime is pretty clutch if you’ve already got a Ring doorbell. Super easy to set up, just plug it in and boom—instant doorbell vibes anywhere in your house. The chime tones are kinda fun, and you can tweak the volume so it’s not screaming at you. Only downside? It can be a little slow to alert if your Wi-Fi’s acting up. Not a dealbreaker, but kinda annoying.

Overall is a good doorbell alerting system. Had to purchase when installing the ring doorbell camera the physical doorbell already installed in the house was an older model and did not connect with the ring doorbell, hence having to also purchase the chime. Chime, for the most part was easy to install, mostly had to make sure that it connected with the ring account and was on the same homepage with the ring doorbell and other products. Did like that you can have the chime to alert you not only when people ring the doorbell, but when motion is detected at the doorbell; we did not choose that feature, but that is a nice option. Also liked that there are multiple sounds to choose from and you can Pick some thing that fits your taste or is pleasing to the ear as well as volume. Was happy the Best Buy technician was able to direct me to this more basic model instead of the more expensive one indicating that as long as you have a good Wi-Fi connection. The basic model is all you need . Giving four out of five stars for some of the hassle of trying to get it linked up to the ring system and the expense of having to buy some thing new to go along with the ring doorbell camera, as well as if somebody rings the doorbell it will not make the sound again, even if they press the button until the ring doorbell has stopped filming and pauses to allow you to ring it again. Excellent ring chime. Easy set up plug in, add device on app, select your chime tone and your all set up. Small but loud . I think its adorable. Lol Cant go wrong with Rong. Love there products.

So far no complaints about my ring door bell. It was relatively easy to install. I am having trouble with my internet connection but that is a separate issue and as of right now I can’t fault Ring. I purchased a solar charger and even with 3 to 4 hours of direct sun I still have a problem charging. I continue to loose 3 to 4% a day. Again, that is a separate issue, and may not have anything to do with the doorbell.

My first wireless Chime just quit on me without warning. One day it was working, and then the next day it wasn't. It lasted about 2-3 years. The new wireless Chime, I guess you can say Gen 2, is not only better looking (it doesn't look like a Lego block with outlet prongs), it functions a lot better. There's a blue indicator light that shows you that it's connected, and there are more notification sounds to choose from the previous model. Why didn't I spend the extra $20 for the Pro model? There are two reasons, I didn't need a night light, and two, I didn't need the Wi-Fi extender. A quick recap, the second generation is more aesthetically pleasing, is eat to install, has better functionality, and for $20 less is a better value, if your Wi-Fi is sufficient.

I purchased a Ring hardwired doorbell previously and all was well. Then my 20 year old chime stopped working. I was able to pick up a new Ring chime the same day from Best Buy in Orland Park. The installation and set-up was so simple. Plug the chime in and us the app to complete the installation. I really liked the many chime options too. Everything works very well and I'm very happy with the new chime.

My ring doorbell has been working great, however for whatever reason it didn't work with my old 1960's interior doorbell chime. This solves the problem well! Sync'd right up to my doorbell and allows you to customize the volume and doorbell chime. Works great!

Bought a house and there was no hardwired doorbell so I got a ring. This makes it so you can hear the bell all throughout the house.

Great supplement to the ring doorbell. I like that it is wireless and you just have to plug it in. Very easy and quick set up. Works well and alerts when there is motion or a ring on the doorbell. Sound is good also.

It works great. Easy to install. No wiring need. We can hear it ring upstairs. My wife office is up stairs. I recommended it to several of my friends.

Fast fast and accurate and has great sound you can hear through all the entire house love it

Does what it is supposed to do. Synched up easily with my doorbell/alarm system. Has a variety of doorbell tunes from which to choose and you can adjust the volume. Great little device.

Great product as replaced previous older model no longer functioning. Easy to setup and worked fine with my existing ring products.

When you don’t have a wired doorbell and you add a ring camera doorbell, you need one of these. It works flawlessly and is easy to install and setup

I think the price is a bit much for a chime, for the doorbell alert. They work fine, but I'd like to see this come with the doorbell purchase. Easy to setup and is loud enough for my grandma that is hard of hearing to hear easy.

My old one just died. I spent 4 days resetting it online then would go off. Finally decided to buy this one. Like night and day. Set it up immediately, was super easy and works like it’s supposed to!
