Have set up my house with these, connections are easy and the system works great with Alexa

These units are great, but far from imperfect. We wanted to add these to our existing system to use for windows. They were great for a few months and then they started having issues. Two keep dropping off and even set off the alarm from time to time. Too late to return. Using third party magnets does help in tight spaces and is not the culprit in the reliability as the units that have gone bad are not the ones we used alternative magnets with. The other units work just fine. Maybe we got a couple duds.

We bought this thinking we could just add them to some windows for security. Little did I know you need some additional hardware for this to work. I believe you need the alarm and these are just additional pieces you could add. Not knocking it on stars as I think it’s a good idea. You could add more if needed. Yet you need the alarm system first for these to work.

Good value considering 2 are $40. Easy to install. Would absolutely recommend.

I bought the ring alarm system but it only came with three sensors so I needed more and decided to check at Best Buy and bought them there. My husband installed them and we love the system we were paying 50 dollars a month from our old alarm company and now we only pay 100 dollars a year. We have the door bell from ring and a couple ring cameras and we love them!

This is the perfect addition to your Ring alarm system. It's very easy to add these to your alarm system as well as installing where you want. For larger houses, this set works well to have sensors on all those additional doors and windows as the pre-packed alarm set didn't have enough for me and this one box of 6 works out perfectly for the best coverage on my house.
