Had seen the Ring door bell and its performance at my friends house and was impressed, Wanted to avoid the wired cameras. Was looking forward to black Friday deals when the sale came up at BestBuy for 3 cameras. My son fixed the camera and up and running. Love it so far, may go in for a solar charger. Cloud rental is around 50/month/camera.

So far, a month in, It has been working well. I had trouble with the intial setup. I would get down to the final step in getting it on WIFI then it would fail. I finally called their customer service and had to wait a long time to get someone, meanwhile you have to listen to the inventor talk on endlessly about his story. It gives you the option of having them call back, but that didn't work. Anyway once I got someone, he simply had me reset it and repeat the setup. That worked. It would have been nice to have had those instructions either with it or online if you were having difficulty. The next morning it had a communication issue and I had to reset the Chime, but it has been working fine since. The stick up cams give a good picture and sound. I have answered the door while away from home and it worked well. Installing them was not difficult. A little more for the doorbell, but only because I had to drill through bricks. The door frame was not wide enough where the original door bell was. I have not had to recharge the batteries yet. I have answered the door while away from home and it worked well. The motion sensors work well. it records us everytime we enter or leave the house, when someone comes to the door or when the yardmen come. I didn't want to run wires and this was a good option.

It’s very good camera for home use and easy to install

I have to say this is b one of the best purchases I've ever made I'm not very handy with installing things and it was very very easy to install the security camera is so clear and it works every time I get a notation on my phone anytime anyone comes up to my door it makes me feel very safe and I'm glad I got the whole ring box I would recommend this product to anyone when I didn't understand a few things there's a ring customer service number offered to you and then explain everything step-by-step and help you until they completely solve the problem the only thing that I don't really like is the Chime but I absolutely love the rest of it!! Before installing the ring doorbell I didn't have a doorbell and that didn't even matter and now I do thanks ring!

Good cameras and features overall. My only complaint is the motion detection. Leaves much to be desired in that particular aspect

The ring doorbell and cameras are pretty good. We have had one suspicious person come to the door and we have that stored on the cloud. It is so sensitive that it alerts us when cars go buy in the street or someone is walking on the sidewalk. That can be both good and annoying. Over all I feel that this is a good product and a good investment.

Installation and setup are fairly simple. The picture shows clear. Several weeks after installing cameras, my doorbell stopped worked. I called customer support and after attempting to get it back online unsuccessfully they shipped out a replacement doorbell. I do not have my doorbell hardwired so I have to remove it to charge it.

Wanted this for a little extra security and a better doorbell. The cameras work very well, the ability to talk through the doorbell is awesome too. The installation was straightforward and easy enough.

Had to contact company to get live view activated on my cameras. Live view is hit or miss. Faults out a lot. When it works it's great. Wish I could turn the notifications on and off. When we are home or away, like my ADT alarm that the ring supplements. The ring and ADT partnership is also a great idea, but severely lacking in functionality. The only thing you can do is quickly switch from one app to the other. There really isn't any true integration. The other downfall is that you have to pay for storing your videos to their cloud service. Great another level cloud service I have to pay for. Overall a good product for what it is and what it does. Probably the best on the market at this time.

I purchased this product after having a burglar break in assuming no one was home when he knocked twice & no one answered. I don't usually answer after dark and now with Ring I don't have to. I can see who is there and have a conversation without ever opening the door and I don't even need to be home! The doorbell camera works well. It does take some testing/time to get camera coverage and distance perfect for your area but adjustments are super easy on the Ring app. The stick-up cameras work well but you may need to move your wifi tower to an optimal spot in your home to reach all 3 cameras with a good signal or purchase a solar panel from Ring or a wifi extender for one or more cameras (only one of my cameras had a spotty wifi signal). Cameras are easy enough to install if you are even minimally handy. Ring Support staff answered all my questions before and after purchase and were very helpful with set up and also with equipment issues. Great customer service. I'd actually give this Ring kit a 4 1/2 out of 5.

We purchased this security system for our home and are happy with it. The price was much affordable ! I installed them myself easily in about 2 hours. Everything works great and we now see when deliveries and our pets playing- which is the extent of our visitors. I definitely recommend.

Everything works however battery does not last 6 months to a year as advertised. With minimal use you will have to charge the battery on a monthly or bi monthly basis. You need the solar panels. Also you may need a range extender or the chime pro as walls will degregate the signal.

Was originally recommended by a friend and I have recommended it to others. Set-up was pretty easy. Recommend that you charge the batteries first (makes set-up much easier). Everything you need is included in the box. Ring does a good job with packaging and instructions. Mounting was a breeze. So far the cameras have worked well (I never knew so many people visited my house or yard on a regular basis). To save on battery recharging I returned to Best Buy and purchased the solar panel chargers. Nice to be able to see what is happening at home when at work or out of town.

We have been using the Ring Camera and Doorbell kit for about 2 months now and am very happy with it. Set up was easy with exception to trying to figure out if they were charging or not - not so intuitive when recharging the cameras as well. But clear 4 star product.

The Ring security kit is a good, quick way to provide wireless security for your home, but a professionally hardwired installation would be best for this system. Pros: -Easy to Install -No need to hardwire -Gives full house video coverage Cons: -Doorbell constantly picks up cars on the street as motion -Can turn off notifications, but can't turn off motion sensor detection -Short battery life Those first two cons translate into extremely short battery life. Prior to installing, I fully charged the doorbell. One month later, the battery is below 20% and is now in danger of dying while I am gone for the holidays. I have the motion zone set to 5 feet, the lowest it goes, and it still picks up cars 30 feet away.

This is a good system, basic and easy for anyone to set up and install.

I’ve owned the RING doorbell for a few years and love it so I decided to buy the RING Security kit. I love it!!! I can view the front and backyard when alerted or not. Wonderful purchase and great security for my home.

This is really reasonably priced bundle. If you are going to implement this in your home, make sure you have great WiFi coverage, as slow connection speeds will ruin the experience and usefulness of these devices. When fully connected to reliable wifi, you can keep an eye on your home from anywhere - and provide peace of mind while you are away.

1. I had to change my wifi encryption type to get any of the ring equipment to work. The ring doorbell is fish eyed and has a great view range. 2. The stickup cams are no fish eyed and therefore have a limited range in view. The video quality should be better in my opinion. 3. The motion detection takes time to setup correctly, else you'll get a lot of false positives. 4. The motion detection will not detect small people. 5. I do feel safer now in my home. 6. I feel more secure about being away from my home now.
