The ring outdoor cam plus is very easy to install with the included hardware, and set up is a breeze with the app. If you already have other ring devices, this one will easily add to the dashboard so you can see all your videos in ome place. The video quality is great, with up to 2k resolution, giving you a very wide angle of view. The night image is good too. It includes an IR light for night time, with the option of turning it off from the app in case you have the camera facing a window. Since this is an outdoor cam, it is weather resistant. No need to worry about the elements. The two way speaker works clearly and is loud enough to hear when mounted high. The camera is battery operated so the drain will depend on how often you view live video and how often your motion detection settings make it go off. You can customize all this in the app. Typical battery times can generally range from 1 to 6 months, however this is all depending on use and your personal settings. I recommend a solar panel for expected heavier use. Overall, the the ease of installation, the ease of the app, and the video quality make this outdoor cam plus a must recommend.

This is a good camera, mines fell a few times which messed with the clearing of the sounds but it shows very well, the battery I charge maybe once very two weeks

This camera was easy to install. Video quality is good if I could keep the salt air off of the lens. We needed a camera to watch our dumpster to keep contractors from dumping their waste/materials.

Amazing device! Definitely has helped us out with keeping an eye on our house when we go away. We had some problems with neighbors/kids trashing our back yard while we were away. Getting this camera helps us when we go away for the weekend. The distance of view, night vision, and quality of the video feed is amazing! Battery life seems to last a long time as well. Camera was super easy to install as well, only took a few minutes to get done. And the app setup was super easy as well.

This camera was very easy to set up and add to our system. The clarity and functions are terrific. I did buy a 2nd battery, the battery looses its charge after about 2 weeks and it takes 8 hours to charge

And the only issue I had with the set up for this was that it was a little tricky to figure out the picture directions. I had to look up a YouTube video to really understand how to remove the base. But as far as performance goes, this little camera is super. Rather than drilling holes in my wall, I attached it with some super heavy Velcro and it is working great.

The ring outdoor 2K cameras are a gigantic improvement over previous 1080p cameras. They connect faster to wifi, stay connected and have less missed captures. When connecting to these cameras the delay is 1 second vs 5-10 seconds on the older 1080p cams. Considering they cost $60 often, it’s well worth the price for a basic wifi cam. They’re especially useful as a low cost travel cam for kids and a mobile wifi router. You can setup a mobile camera to watch your kids sleep quickly or watch your hotel room.

Performance is excellent and quality it great. All for an unbelievable price.

Very reasonable priced. Excellent HD wide angle view & night vision clarity better than expected. Microphone & speakers work as advertised. Strong WiFi signal is crucial. Connection to iPhone app was seamless. Battery life so far seems very good. Camera is indeed mounted outdoors in an area with little to no shade, so will see if it lives up to the “outdoor” billing.
