Easy to install, clear picture and great battery life…

Very reasonable priced. Excellent HD wide angle view & night vision clarity better than expected. Microphone & speakers work as advertised. Strong WiFi signal is crucial. Connection to iPhone app was seamless. Battery life so far seems very good. Camera is indeed mounted outdoors in an area with little to no shade, so will see if it lives up to the “outdoor” billing.

Excellent security cam with clear video and still images. Easy to install and set-up on the Ring app. Solar charging option makes worries about battery levels a thing of the past. Receive alerts when movement and or people are detected in the secured zone. Option to turn off these alerts or change coverage area when desired. Worth the price for the sense of security and peace of mind it delivers.

I have a couple of the ring stick-up battery cameras - this one with the enhanced resolution and low light capability is worth the extra $ - much clearer and enhanced picture at night. I took one star off because the USB port for the solar panel connection was not easily found (and no instructions as to where it is located.) The camera also does not apparently detect a non-ring solar panel (purchased because it has longer cord which I needed for the installation location), although the panel appears to be keeping the battery charged.

I was searching for an easy to install and operate motion detection camera for my home. After checking a number of brands, features, price points and storage, I decided on the ring camera. It had all the features I needed, and allowed me to monitor from my phone at anytime. It was quick and easy to install. It took less than 5 minutes, after charging the battery. I opted to not have a wired camera simply so the wire couldn't be pulled to stop recording the area I was trying to monitor. I am looking into purchasing a few more in the near future.

This is the second outdoor cam plus battery. They are clear photos and pick up any movement upon any move. This camera I am using in the backyard to check any animal movement. Again it is working great

Great value. Easy to install and add to the ring doorbell account. It did not have instruction in the box, but it was easy to figure out. Pictures are clear and it give notification of movement same as the doorbell.

Great cam with nice night vision. 2K is great. Mountable in many positions.

After having another brand starting with the letter A for a few years it was time to upgrade. We first tried the newer A model, but found it did not capture motion unless it was literally in our driveway. Decided to try Ring and it works much better. It captures motion much better and the video is very clear day and night. The only downside versus Brand A is that it does not have smart notifications to the same level (animal, package), and just records person, vehicle or “motion”.

Installed it relatively easy. The app guided the connection and settings. The video is clear and recognizes people consistently. You get a 30 day trial to save videos for review.

After having the Ring Doorbell and app for a year I decided I wanted to extend my protection to the backyard. The camera was on sale and I had some Best Buy Rewards to spend so I bought 2 of these cameras. The view from these cameras is much better than my doorbell. They are sharper, brighter and the night vision is better all around. So far the batteries have lasted but, I havent had them long enough to see what their full potential is. With the app you can completely customize your view, alerts, motion settings and notifications. You can even listen and speak with these cameras just like the Doorbell. The clarity is much improved over the doorbell that I have. The one drawback is that you will need to get a subscription if you want to record and store the videos. Depending on the number of cameras and features you wan this could get expensive. If you have invested in a Ring Doorbell this is a nice relatively inexpensive option to add more views of your property.

Easy setup and works great. Use it to monitor our backyad and pool area. Love that i can twll it to only monitor for people.

Haven' t had very long but is working well for what we needed in our backyard. Easy to install

Great camera with exceptional quality. I got this to cover my entire front door for packages. The doorbell cant catch the entire area when packages get dropped off. The ease of the install was pretty straight forward and setup with existing system was just easy. But everything has to have at least 1 drawback or gripe. Mine would be that the battery cover is just a phillips screw, unlike the ring doorbell which has a tamperproof torx screw. This isn't a deal breaker for me just the only thing I could complain about.

I have many of the ring wired cams around my house that work perfectly and this one also does the job. Software is easy to use and hardware is easy to install.

I recently ordered Ring outdoor camera through online and went to store picked up the camera. The customer service was awesome, the installation took less than 5 minutes , and mounted on the wall. Now I am able to monitor anywhere from the world, the quality is wonderful. Happy to use Ring camera.

Great camera! Easy to install. Amazing color picture with a wide view. We put it in our backyard and we can see everything. We did attach a Ring solar panel.
