Installation was pretty simple and the optional solar panel charger makes it nice not having to recharge the batteries.

This camera works great you can see what is going on around the outside of your home and it records it all in High Def.

It is great camera. Very easy to set up and use. I will get another as soon as I can afford it for the backyard.

Product is very easy to install and use, but we do get a fair amount of false positive sensor readings that the manufacturer cannot explain. Have combined this unit with a 2nd one and the pro door bell (which works great)!

The short read: This cam has a great picture. The 2 way talk works awesome. It's ultra portable and is easily setup and installed. The cloud service is cheap. The review: Both of my cams have excellent signal and send me notifications within 2-3 seconds of the event. Since the motion sensor is heat based like a security light, it has fewer false alarms than the video based home cams. It does seem that the sensor range is somewhat wide horizontally but very narrow vertically which causes me to have to set the sensitivity a bit higher than I would prefer. I'm guessing it would like to be mounted lower like their doorbell ( don't have one yet but plan to ), and likely has a similar sensor. So mounting it near the porch roof causes the sensor aim to be off from the center of its viewing area. I prefer it mounted high up out of reach without a step stool or such. But on a common weekday, with our usual household traffic, we get maybe 10-12 or so notifications of which maybe one or two are street traffic or something undefined. We get fewer alerts from the backdoor cam as it is a lightly trafficked area, but it's still useful there in case of snoopers. The 720p picture is very good. It's not on par with current model DropCam/Nest which is 1080p but it's very clear and will give you sharp live picture and the audio is like a speakerphone call. It's night vision could be better though. You're going to want to have a porch light or such because I'm guessing that since it runs off battery, it's night infrared isn't as strong as the plug in home cams. The cloud service is a great deal and has a ridiculously long 6 month storage time. And unlike DropCam/Nest and FLIR FX, the alerts aren't merely video motion based, they are heat sensing and I don't know of any other home cam that uses that. I actually didn't know this one did before purchase. DropCam/Nest is pretty capable at winnowing out false alarms but the service costs more than triple of this cam. FLIR FX is free service but it just goes off repeatedly and I end up with alerts every few minutes to the point I turn them off. Plus getting multiple DropCam/Nest will slow your internet connection significantly as they record constantly. It uses about 60 gb/month bandwidth per camera on high quality. It's also worth noting that Ring is selling a solar panel that will eliminate the need to take the cam down to charge it every so often. I haven't had to charge mine yet but it looks like the actual amount of foot traffic and alerts will drag it down below the months long battery life. I read something about that before purchasing but also planned on either running a USB to it or getting the solar panel to run it off grid. Cons: None so far. I own Nest and DropCams and this cam works better, the video is close enough in quality, and you can actually answer and interact with visitors proficiently. It's like Skyping visitors.

I have a Ring Doorbell and the stickup Cam works just as good!!! I love that there are no wires to run and hide!!

Poor motion detection. Should be like door bell pro. The camera and battery need big improvement to work in zero temperature.

This camera have good features, totally wireless. Some times you have to setup again if the Internet fail.

Someone comes to my door and I don't even have to be home to see who is there. It's great! Makes me feel safe!

The picture is better the closer you are to the WiFi source. We were trying to use it about 300 feet away and the connection and picture weren't the best. Using is for other purposes closer to the WiFi looks good.

This unit was easy to install even with the solar charger. It worked right away and its view is GREAT!
