This is an excellent movie for kids on a family weekend

Captured by smugglers as a hatchling, a macaw named Blu never learned to fly and lives a happily domesticated life in Minnesota with his human friend, Linda. Blu is thought to be the last of his kind, but when word comes that Jewel, a lone female, lives in Rio de Janeiro, Blu and Linda go to meet her. Animal smugglers kidnap Blu and Jewel, but the pair soon escape and begin a perilous adventure back to freedom and Linda. Blue macaws Blu, Jewel, and their three children are comfortably settled in the city perhaps too comfortably. Jewel fears that the children are becoming more like humans than birds. After learning that she and Blu may not be the last blue macaws, after all, Jewel decides that their little family should visit the Amazon jungle. It's there that Blu meets his formidable father-in-law and goes beak-to-beak with archnemesis Nigel.

Got this for $10! Both movies look great in Blu Ray and Digital. Digital Copy crosses over to iTunes, Movies Anywhere, and VUDU platforms. Must buy. Movies are e as entertaining as I remember them. My kids love them.

My daughter loves these movies! They were at a great deal when I picked them up and they certainly have not disappointed. Plenty of laughs for the whole family!

With music, laughter, and a cute animal couple. Rio is truly a great kids movie. In fact, The fact that this movie isn't critically acclaimed is ridiculous.

The movie pack was a great buy because my dtr likes Rio 2 instead of the 1st Rio movie. Rio 2 is packed with music and is very entertaining. My dtr was not interested in the 1st movie as it lacked music and action in the 1st half of the movie.

Nice to get 2 for the price of one. Plus saves space on the shelf with only one case. Movies are cute ... our little one enjoyed them very much.

My sons absolutely love Rio 1 & 2. Very funny, entertaining with all the songs and kid friendly. This is a movie you can watch several times :)

My girls like this movie very much. They sing and dance to the music from the movie and they have a good laugh every time they watch it.

Loved these movies when they came out. I enjoy having a physical al and digital copy. No need to have bluray and digital AND dvd.

These two movies are great! My kids loves them, and I don't mind watching them either. They are better than I thought they would be.

I had the first one in dvd and the second in blu ray so i got the set which was also cheaper for both movies in blu ray

Wholesome cartoon with a good storyline that teaches children about friendships. The colors of the characters are brilliant.
