If you like games like silent hill, then you'll love this game because it not only gives you a similar storyline but allow you to be part of it, the only downfall is that at times since you are the character it became little bit slow paced, but overall a great game.

Great start for first person Kinect for grownups!

It can only get better from here. For a first REAL first person role play type game, I was pleased. My sons are full on gamers and gave a good nod to this as a starting point for Kinect. I thought it did a very good job of intigrating players' movements with movements of the character he/she IS. That is the difference between the other games and this one - you are not just looking at a character onscreen and choosing a kick, punch, shoot function - the character #which you only see through their eyes - so a hand or foot as you move or do things# does what you do almost EXACTLY, right down to how you turn your head and shoulders. This can make it tricky to function at first because it is sensitive to your every body part and movement so you really do need to take care in how you move around. Even something as simple as balancing as you stand on a floating item of debris in the river is decided on how you shift your weight from side to side. Cool and challenging. Head and sholder movements are even important. You will get a workout, plus you do need to figure out the mystery, avoid zombies, kill them and get around. Again, cool and challenging. Kinect will get better yet after this offering but I am going to say, KUDOS, the team was not asleep on the job for this one - make it fun, challenging AND make use fo the Kinect functionality. Yep, it's got all that. Yes, it has violence so not for little kids. Old hat for most teens. What Zombie themed game isn't? Also, it is NOT too dark - worked great on my 50" plasma. TV quality problems for the other people?

Story line and dialogue leave a lot to be desired. Difficult to move around at first but be patient and its gets easier. Game can definately get tiring but that is to be expected with Kinect! I love that they are starting to have adult themed games.
Game is definately dark as others have described, but it's supposed to be scary, it's not, but still it's supposed to be.

I am 33, mother of two, not much of a gamer! I get bored of games very easy, especially if too hard or confusing! The dance games are ok but very tiring! This game is fun, kind of gorey, but not too bad! This game will not be liked much for serious gamers cuz not challenging enough or big special effects or graphics. However, for gamers like me, who are looking for a fun, storyline, somewhat challenging, and still give you a little bit of exercise type game for kinect then this game will suit you. Not good for kids younger than teens in my opinion. Hope this helps you in your purchase of this game!

CAN BE SCARY TO PLAY ALONE WITH YOUR SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM HOOKED UP! TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO FOR WALKING AND NAVIGATING, BUT THERE IS A TUTORIAL SCREEN IN THE MAIN MENU. PEOPLE REVIEWED ITS DIFFICULT TO WALK, BUT NOT TRUE ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT. THERE IS ALSO AN AUTOWALK FEATURE IF YOU RAISE YOUR RIGHT HAND THAT WILL NAVIGATE YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MORE GAMES LIKE THIS, YOU'LL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU LIKE KILLING ZOMBIES, ITS A WORKOUT AND ALL SORTS OF COOL WEAPONS!!!

I had two copies of this game and neither worked properly. The game froze at the same point with both copies.
