Awesome anime! Im the kind of person that doesnt mind waiting for the anime to eventually go from part 1 and part 2 which can be very expensive to a complete season which always cost less, this is to still support the creators of the anime but also save myself some money too. Well, if you dont want to buy the anime in parts and dont care too much for the dvds those sets include, then this is the way to go. With this set, you get the complete Season 1 divided into 4 blurays, im not sure how the artwork is on the part 1 and part 2 blurays but on this set you get original Manga Art and that looks very cool! Bluray Disc 1 has episodes 1-6 Bluray Disc 2 has episodes 7-13+ some special features Bluray Disc 3 has episodes 14-21 and Bluray Disc 4 has episodes 22-25+ special features. As someone who didn't really become interested in "Rising of the Shield Hero" until Season 2 of "Isekai Quartet," this show is definitely one of my most favorite newer anime, newer to me anyway. It has great heart, great action, and is just great all around. Also, the price of $49.99 is just perfect. I missed out on the original Limited Edition and Blu-Ray/DVD releases, so the Complete First Season on Blu-Ray is just perfect. Definitely highly recommended. BRING ON SEASONS 2 AND 3!!!!

This series is definitely worth owning in physical media, and it's a pretty good value for a 25 episode season. It's at turns funny and touching, and it's nice to see a fantasy anime that's really about something. Some references to adult situations in here, so not for the kiddies.
