Love most of Tom Cruise older movies glad to find on BluRay

I hadn't seem this movie since I was very young. It was truly bizarre as it is ostensibly a "teen movie" set in high school that involves very adult themes and ridiculous situations that would likely not be allowed to be portrayed today. A great perfomance by a young, fledgling Tom Cruise and a scene stealing turn by an equally young Rebecca De Mornay make this a fun, stylish and surreal movie.

We've always liked this film a lot, but have had a 4:3 version since DVDs first came out. this DVD was in the $5.99 bin at the store, and is widescreen. It also has some special features that highlight some of the more outlandish parts of the film, like when the Porsche went into the lake.

This movie has a special meaning to me ...the sunglasses that T Cruse wore in the movie were made by me .... the glass part .... following this and the blues brothers movie launched a resurgence in this sunglass style ... what was a 2 week production run turned into 6 months .... great movie and it reminded me of happy days

This iconic 1983 excellent coming of age movie stars Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay and launched Cruise's career. The video quality is very good. My only complaint is that I was unable to locate the special features commentary with Cruise, et al. This is highly recommended.

This is the film that made Tom Cruise into the household name that he is today. He had bit parts in other films, but Risky Business thrust the charismatic actor dead center into the public consciousness. Come for the lauded dance scene, stay for the cautionary morality tale.

One of the more unusual teen comedies of the 80s looks as good as I've ever seen it look. Stands out amongst its type thanks to good writing and a star-making turn from Tom Cruise, who was still a relative unknown when this came out.

Classic 80s "teen" comedy. Right up there with Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Wild Life, and Porkys. Glad these 80s films are not stuck in the VHS graveyard, great to have them on blu ray.

Fun, sexy and well-paced. I have enjoyed this film since I first saw it and it is only better on Blu Ray. The story-line is good, the acting is great and the transfer to Blu Ray completes the deal!

This is a classic 80’s film that should be in everyone’s collection. The transfer is decent improvement from the DVD. Sound quality is also vastly improved.

This is the first movie that I ever saw Tom Cruise perform in and he did an awesome job. I feel this movie is what led him on his acting journey and helped to make him an actor that can play and part and end up giving an awesome performance.

Tom Cruise's first starring role! The film is both funny and dramatic, Cruise is great, and so is Rebecca De Mornay. Great video and audio make this a must see.

I always liked this film. It is a fun coming of age story and at times it is very sexy while also providing plenty of laughs. Lot's of entertainment and a decent transfer to BluRay.
