A good example of how a great B-movie should be made.It entertains and gives the fans of it's genre straight up satisfaction without expecting the audience to take the whole story too seriously.Much like reading a good comic book.Here we have a good action comedy/drama with good action choreography and a simple plot of good versus evil and why each side does what it does.The acting is adequate and the cast chosen here was also good.The production values were all average but still,the overall flow of the movie just delivers for all those fans who understand B-action movies.This is the Swayze and Elliot I love.

Purchased this to add to my collection of of older movies. This is noted as one of the best films of the 80's, and even after all this time doesn't disappoint. Swayze is at the top of his martial arts game, Great story line and acting. Plot is basic good guy VS. bullies and bad guys. Yes, it's 30+ years old, but still entertains.

It's one of Patrick Swayze best . Story line of a loner with a purpose to make lufe better for those around him. Though violence and discipline are core to his character, he gets the job done. He finds a beautiful love interest along the way to make life even sweeter. Ben Gazzara and Kelly Lynch and Sam Elliot also elevate the quality of this movie.

Great classic 80's kick butt action movie one of Patrick Swayze's best movies. and it looks great on Blu-ray great picture and great sound and the sound is in 5.1 surround sound. If you like Patrick Swayze and good old 80's action movies you may want to add this one to your Blu-ray library. Still a great movie after all these years.

I mean, c'mon. Unless you are very young and have not yet born witness to this cinematic ode to barfights and the men who stop them, you already know how awesome this movie is. If you don't have it on disc, get this. It's probably not very much money, but it is worth every penny you will spend.

In true Swayze fashion, this film is the cinematic equivalent of a roundhouse kick to the sternum. It will knock you on the floor right off the bat, taunting you to get up and take more knowing that you are overcome by the force of the film. Good luck recovering from this masterpiece.

I love Road House. It's one of the first movie roles that I observed Swayze in. I was hooked ever since. He was a versatile actor and one of the best of his day. I will forever miss what he brought to his acting roles. This is a must see especially if you never seen this movie!!

The blu ray quality is not much different from the DVD first release .Unfortunately 21 Century Fox made it very casual blu ray edition.No extras,less subtitles option(only English and Spanish subtitles).It's a shame this studio reduce this option very often for such great movies.

This is one of my all time favorite movies and once i saw it released on blue ray i knew i had to have it. The plot for this movie is great, the cinematography is alright for the time when the movie was filmed. Overall, this movie is a classic and a must have for Patrick Swayze fans.

This was one of my favorite movies back in the 80's and is still a favorite. Swayze did a great job in this one and was one of the film that I felt was responsible for his meteoric climb as a Hollywood film icon.

I loved this movie because my favorite actor was in it--Sam Elliott. It was an exciting movie involving crime, deceit, theft, bad guys and good guys. I like this movie every time I watch it! Recently found it on sale at Best Buy and will watch it any time I choose to. Movie is not for children. Too much violence and a lot of bad scenes. Will recommend to adults only.

I fine this movie is right on the line between the "good and bad movie". If you're a Patrick Swayze fan you will most likely enjoy the movie. All comes down to the vision of the viewer either you like it or not, the movie is not boring or jammed pack crazy action.

Who doesn't love Patrick Swayze, this movie is one of the best and I have seen it so many times I stopped counting. The quality of the Blu- Ray Disc is great, what else can I say, buy this movie and watch it over and over, you can't go wrong!

So glad to get one of my favorite Swayze movies on bluray. It is a wonderful show with both Sam Elliott, and Patrick Swayze. Two wonderful actors in a fast paced action movie. I loved this 25th anniversary edition. Great movie for a great price.

Shout Factory does it again with another great cult hit for their Shout Select Series. Great looking picture and sound, and, of course, a good set of extras. If you're a fan of this fun '80s hit, this is the only version to buy.

Classic Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot. It is a very entertaining movie from start to finish that I have seen a half dozen times or so and still enjoy.

Patrick Swayze being Patrick Swayze. Very good movie and fun to watch. The music by Jeff Healy is excellent!! Worth every penny spent. "You play pretty good for a blind, white boy. Yeah, and I thought you'd be bigger." Great line from the movie.

Patrick Swayze made a lot of great movies, from Red Dawn to Dirty Dancing to Point Break, but in ROAD HOUSE he gives his finest performance. The line "my way or the highway" is worthy of Clint Eastwood in his prime. Excellent film.

If you like action, acting, SWAYZE, and mustaches, and you haven't seen this movie, please stop whatever less consequential thing you're doing and but this now. You'll thank me through your newly-grown mustache later.

Seriously, Swayze rips out a mans throat and then roundhouse kicks him into a pond. That's all the review you are going to need. Just enjoy. And as a bonus, Sam Elliott's mustache is not even that powerful in this film. He's just that good.
