Posted .Hi there, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. I recommend tuning your FM radio to a station that has a lot of static already (therefore, one that is not already broadcasting audio). Then, once you tune your Roadtripper to the same station, it should cut out any static completely since it is not competing with any other broadcasts. Posted .Hi! If you still have your instructions, it is in the "Playing music on your phone" section. Press and hold the red "end call" button until the frequency flashes. Then, use the +/- keys to adjust the station to a quiet frequency. Pressing and holding the +/- keys will skip frequencies faster. It will automatically set after a few seconds. Once Bluetooth is paired and your radio matches the new station shown on the screen, you can play music on the bandwidth. Enjoy! Thanks, Bracketron Support

Music and lyrics heard just fine, can be used with phone connected or not. I would buy again :) using for 2000 Nissan

Followed directions that came with the device but directions didn't seem accurate. Thought I was doing something wrong until my 22 year old son tried to help me to no avail. Tried to return to Best Buy but they wouldn't refund/exchange even though it was defective. Not happy.
