I love this movie. It cracks me up no matter how many times I see it.

If you don't love this movie, there is something wrong with you!

It is a great story, and I highly recommend it for your collection.

"Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent." The question ("And why should the people listen to you?") is asked by Prince John, played by Richard Lewis, and answered by Cary Elwes, as Robin Hood, and an obvious snarky comment about Kevin Costner's performance in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" (1991). This is hands down one of our favorite movies, filled with a lot of quotable quotes and funny moments that to list would ruin the film, but be sure to watch for all the cameos and the anachronisms that Mel Brooks uses throughout the film. And because the humor is typical Mel Brooks, it probably isn't appropriate for children under the age of 12, but that's for each parent to decide for themselves. One warning: this movie had my kids asking to watch "Blazing Saddles" afterwards but it was still a few more years before we agreed they were finally old enough to watch that one (I don't care what you think you learned on the middle school bus...).

This is such an entertaining movie, so funny and very silly.
