SUCH A ODD BUT FUNNY TAKE ON THE CLASSIC ROBIN HOOD STORY.

Really had a good laugh with this movie. Worth a watch.

This time, Mel Brooks takes on the legend of Robin Hood and his merry men. Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride) portrays Robin of Locksley, returning home from the Crusades after escaping from prison in Jerusalem, only to find Prince John has usurped power from King Richard, who is still fighting in the Crusades. It's another Mel Brooks musical comedy, taking aim at one of the most well-known legends. A movie everyone will enjoy!

Okay, if you are not a fan of Mel Brooks-style films, and are over the age of 25, you simply don't know what you are missing. Robin Hood: Men in Tights is a spoof on all the various Robin Hood stories and films, and features a superb cast and lots of laughs.

I have lost count of the number of times that I've seen this movie. I enjoy every hilarious scene. One of my favourite scenes occurs where 'Blinking' although blind is aggressively battling alongside his fellow men in tights with great energy and intensity. His arms are flailing with great fury but as it turns out he was hacking at a pole and not the supposed enemies. This is one of my all time favourite movies and I am happy to add it to my collection.

If you are not easily offended by 80's humor buy this old school Mel Brooks classic. I have seen it a dozen times, its funny every time. If you want to show your 20 somethings what real comedy is this is it. It is junk food for the soul and has some very memorable lines. Have fun.

If you're a fan of irreverent comedies then this deserves a watch. Do know this has a lot of humor which was normal for the time of production. Can be very crude but that's part of the charm and what makes Mel Brookes's "In your face" humor so wonderful

The DVD player I use is ancient and prone to a lot of skipping on DVDs I just bought and therefore know for a fact that there are no scratches to cause the skipping. However, there was no skipping or any other problems with this DVD, and yet it was quite easy on my wallet! Since it is such an enjoyable movie I have watched it many more times.

As a collector of blu-rays, I absolutely love this blu-ray of Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Thank you Best Buy for selling this blu-ray and making it available to collectors, like myself. This is one my family’s favorite movies & most quoted. The move holds up over time and has a wonderful cast that really do let you escape from the day and relax and laugh. Not politically correct, classic Mel Brooks style of making fun and laughing at everyone. No stereotypes are safe with Mel Brooks.

Want a good time laughing at medieval buffoonery? This is one of my favorites by Mel (Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Spaceballs are other favorites) that I go to for a good uplifting humor filled escape from reality. 5.1 DTS MA sounds excellent.

One of the most cleverest interpretations of Robin Hood. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who needs a good laugh. The jokes, the costumes, the cast are all what I want in a film. Thanks Mel Brooks for being a film maker.

I originally saw this many years ago in VHS then re bought it on DVD once the tape wore out, I jumped all over this once it was available for sale at BBY on Blu Ray. This is an amazing funny movie, would highly recommend watching it. This was not your typical "parody" however i do believe it sparked that genre.

Every time I watch this film, I laugh my head off when there was a scene that was absolutely hilarious! To top it off, I would rewind the film to see those scenes and over and over until I was starving myself of oxygen from all the laughing that I was doing!

This movie was pretty much exactly as expected, it has funny moments but is all just sill humor

This is probley the most funniest Mel Brooks film..All the characters were complete idiot's. It was a fun filled movie..Mel Brooks played two parts. A Rabbi and did circumcisions Anyways could film for you collection

The only negative thing I could say about this product is the actual DVD case. I understand cutting back on materials and cost, but there comes a point where you cut back too much and start compromising on the product. The case is very flimsy and that makes it difficult to get to movie out of the case.

I remember watching this as a kid and loving it. Re watching it now understand more of the joke as an adult. Even though i can now laugh harder at those jokes, some other jokes i though were funny as a kid i now find kinda lame. These are rare occasions though as i still find myself laughing through most of the movie. It's not a great film or shot very well but it does what it was meant to do and that is being funny.

This movie is hilarious I’ve seen this when I was a little kid in elementary school and it’s still funny today if you want to movie that will make you laugh this one will do that for you. also it done by Mel Brooks the master of comedy
