Great movie highly recomended......................

I will be honest, I thought this movie was going to be a disaster. It turned out to be a good movie. I enjoyed it. If you are a fan of the old movie realize that this one is not rated R so it will not compare to the original. That being said it was still a good movie. I enjoyed it and there are a lot of homages and references to the old movie. I recommend watching the old one first before watching this one.

I thought that the remake of Robocop was a good film that tried its best to live up to the legend of the original. It helps that the original creators of the character returned to write the screenplay and that everyone in the production of the movie took it seriously and did their best with it. It will never be as good as the original but it is very entertaining and is worth seeing on its own merits.

Turned out to be a good movie. Would watch it again.

Not as satirical as the original but if you can sit through it with an open mind, I'm sure you will enjoy it. High tension, Gary oldman and Michael Keaton put in great performances and sam Jackson really sells his Fox News msnbc style host role. It doesn't have the comedic aspects of the original but in a way it might be a marker for how we live now I. A post 9-11 world. Highly recommended

I loved the first robocop, and was worried when they announced a remake, and well it wasn't amazing, but it's still a fun movie. I just wish they had more feature. But over all I'd say get it! Love the metal pack that bestbuy had, good art and had no dents or scratches, if you can find this pick it up!

Robocop is one of the classic films from my childhood, and this remake was very well done. The visuals were fantastic, cast was amazing, and the change to a black suit....EPIC!!!!! Jackie Earle Haley and Gary Oldman were flawless, and it was great to see Michael Keaton in a film again. I recommend this film to any past Robocop fans, as well as any special effects gurus out there.

This is a great movie for both types of viewers. Young people will enjoy the story because it is fresh, interesting, and has the technology that new movies have. Fans of the classic will appreciate the new twists of this release. The storyline is great and the action is even better. Follows the original story and then takes new refreshing twists. Great movie to watch and own.

This backdrop in this version is sort of tongue-in-cheek American Imperialism. At least I hope it was tongue-in-cheek. That aside it is a pretty fun take on the Robocop character. The special effects and action sequences are state-of-the-art and superior to the previous efforts. Samuel L Jackson gives another top-notch performance. AND the metal container package is cool!

First off, even though this film doesn't quite approach the quality of the original, I think Joel Kinnaman might actually be a more empathetic Alex Murphy than Peter Weller. It manages to touch on topical issues in the same way as the first, but not at the same level. Could use a bit more in the supplementals, but not a bad set, especially for the price paid.

Being a fan of the original, I was hesitant to watch this movie since it had quite a few bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised when I did finally take the leap...the movie paid homage to the original quite well, but gave the story it's own twist. The extra features on the Blu Ray were sufficient, although I was hoping for a bit more insight on some of the SFX.

Joel Kinnaman has become one of my favorite actors. He brings it every time. Nice to see this movie with the updated tech and special effects. Can't beat the price at Best Buy. I love owning my favorite movies and not just streaming them.

The new rendition of Robocop was fun and entertaining with modern flair and special effects. If you don't take it too seriously and enjoy shutting your mind down for a few hours of nostalgic goodness, then it was a joy to watch. Otherwise, if you linger on the political messages and emotional struggles of the protagonist, then it'll drive you crazy.

As a new remake to Robocop it tells about a cop Alex Murphy who is a cop who is chosen for a new program for injured cops while you might think this happens everyday the program is like no other when man overcomes the will of machine. With great action and affects the plot and actors need some thought still a great buy to have on a rainy day.

The story was very similar to the original with some minor changes, here he had a wife and child that helped him overcome the programming. It stayed close to the original in story line. Action sequences were very good. Special effects, especially out of the suit look of what was left of his body was really good. Overall a very good movie

A lot of people that grew up with the original didn't want this to happen. But it did and here it is. It was a nice, fresh, modern look at an old classic and is worth one or two looks. I look forward to a sequel and hope they can not only continue my interest in the franchise but maybe use more stellar quotes from the original.

Well we have seen the MetalPaks in the Past and in comparison to those this new improved metalPak (sometimes referred to as FuturePak) is a bertter quality Product. It is heavier , durable then the previous ones. The only problem i have is that they still scratch to easily and i dont personally like the spine then it is closed.

While not as good as the original "Robocop," José Padilha's film is a solid action-packed movie with just enough story to keep it out of the mindless category. This remake is worth it, because it is a whole new interpretation focusing on the current topics of discussion such as: robots, drones, guns, media personalities, and war.

This version of Robocop is good but somethings could've been changed to make it better. I think if their hadn't been the original Robocop with Peter Weller then this movie would be much more enjoyable. But during the whole movie you find yourself comparing it to the original. If that wasn't around this would be so much better.

The problem was that I entered this movie with the notion that it would build upon the previously established Robocop. Had I never known the original then this would've been a fantastic movie! This is still a great movie and the changes to Robocop are pretty cool but it's just doesn't have the spark of the original.
