I was skeptical about purchasing the remake but there was a great father's day sale so I picked it up anyway. I was actually impressed and feel that it is a solid remake/update on the original movie. Would definitely recommend taking a chance on it if you're a fan of the original.

I was shocked that this was as good as it was. Wasn't expecting much, and then BOOM, it was. RC looks sweet. Love his bike. Wish there was more of a closing to the ending. Also wish they emphasized his gun more. Overall I liked it better than the original. Yeah, I just said that.

This new version of Robocop would probably be viewed as a really solid action/sci-fi movie, if only it didn't fall under the category of "not as good as the original." The changes are nice, however, and it's still a pretty good movie. Wish there were more bonus features though.

In many respects, this movie is superior to the first (lets not talk about the sequels :o ). I think Robocop's wife played too much of a role in this movie and his movements were too fast. I also didn't care for the idea of his soul overriding much of what they did to him.

Doesn't hold a candle to the first RoboCop but it's a great remake of an ol' classic. It's a different take on things if you don't have an open mind to changes from the original RoboCop I'd give this a pass or catch it on TV before buying to be sure you'll like it.

Don't go into this expecting to see a similar story to the original- gone are the days of gratuitous over indulgent violence! this movie is better than I thought it would be- as long as you don't expect to see a true remake of the original, go into the movie for it's own sake

Awesome story and good use of CG. Story and acting is good and a little bit serious than the original. Michael Keaton plays a good Evil Corporate Villain and the fight scenes with ED-209s are cool. This is a worthy re-make of the original minus the wacky TV Advertisements.

I might be in the minority on this, but I actually preferred this to the original Robocop. A movie that really needs to be seen and heard in high def.

Its a very good remake, but i expected more from it, its nice to have a new perspective on it , but i think they could of done much better overall in the top 3 plot,cinematography, & acting,hopefully all will impove with the second installment,nice steelbook packaging!

I really wanted to like this more than I did. I enjoyed the film but something about it left me a bit upset. I can't quite put my finger on it but it wasn't all it was hyped up to be. Still, for $13 this is a great deal for the combo pack and a good summer action film.

Good action movie, but no way as good as the first Robocop movie. This is just my opinion! I think that the first movie dealt deeper into what if you woke one day to find your no longer human yet were still there, trapped in a box. It would be like some of our war vets waking up in a hospital, unable to move, talk or control any bodily function yet be fully aware of everything going on around you. (a terrible itch on your nose and unable to scratch it or ask for help) I also think the acting was better and the plot line was better in the first. It's just my opinion, but they should of just revamp the movie for example "Total Recall" Same basic story line,much better special effect, improved acting and a stand alone movie.

It was definately a decent reboot of the original Robocop.The original was definately pretty graphic for its time compared to this new version.But i think overall it was a decent movie to watch.The special effects were good and the plot wasnt too bad either.

This was a good movie that suffered from not having an R rating. The action was ok but definitely could have been better. Also it seemed like they took too much time setting up the story instead of just coming up with a plotline for Robocop to deal with.

Great reboot flick. I thought it would be kinda stupid but to my surprise it was a pretty good reimagining. Michael Keaton and Jackie Earle Haley play the villains. Still the reboot is not as good as it's orginal. Unless we are talking about robocop 3.

Robocop was a decent remake of the original. Brought back the same military constructs from the original but made them much smarter and terrain compatible than in the original. Overall the movie was pretty good, not one I'd rewatch repeatedly though.

I am a big fan of the original Robocop movies, si I thought I'd try this new take on the story. Despite the changes in story line (some quite significant) I did enjoy this new version. All but the most fussy traditionalists should enjoy this movie.

I enjoyed this remake because it took a different point of view. This remake looked more into the man and his struggles remembering his relationship with his family. Stiil had a lot of action and special effects but that wash't the base of the film.

I liked this movie a lot and so did my daughter. (hard to believe.) I actually liked it more than the original. However,, in places the acting was not top shelf. Still the story and concepts were worth seeing. I'm glad I have it in my library.

I wasn't a huge fan of the original. I've always thought it was solid. I think the new version is a decent upgrade. I enjoyed showing my kids the original and then watching the new version. If I were to give this movie a grade I would give it a B.

Don't expect super academy award winning acting, but the acting is tolerable. This is a great Saturday afternoon action popcorn film. This is a remake but the production values are high as are the special effects. The updated ED209 robot is good.
