I went into this with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the film. It never tries to surpass the legacy of the original; rather, the new story enhances it. I enjoyed the movie very much.

To me the only real disappointment from this movie was that it was not as violent as the original. I was hoping for a hard R rating but we get a PG-13. Otherwise this is a fun though somewhat generic sci-fi/action movie.

This movie was pretty entertaining, great visuals looks really good on blu ray. I still think the original is better. I'm not downing this movie, it is def. worth watching. But as always few remakes live up to originals.

I enjoyed Robocop and was very fond of the 80's movie of the same name. The special effects were well done and the acting was good but I think they made him too much into a Terminator rather than part robot part human.

Great effects and action. I wish had stuck more to the original but I know were trying to do something different and their idea of things. But I really enjoyed it and the actors chosen for the roles were great choices.

I wasn't on board when I heard they were going to remake this,but then I watched it,and it was pretty good.They even had the classic Robocop suit in it.I would recommend giving it a watch at least once.

I liked the original Robocop movie, and I was kind of hesitant about seeing this one because a lot of the time, remakes aren't as good as the original. I was pleasantly surprised! I thought it was a pretty good movie!

Some great effects in this, the plot is predictable but that's to be expected with these types of movies. Acting is serviceable. Got this on sale for $13 so it was a great value, especially only a week after release.

Although tough to live up to the original, this remake wasn't bad. I still prefer the original, but this was not a direct copy of the first. Gary Oldman was solid.

I'm glad to see best buy getting more metal packaging(Metalpaks,Future paks,Steelbooks) with bluray releases this has a nice overall design.The film is good and explores the emotional effect something like this could have on a family and brings into light the moral question and ramifications of putting a man in a machine.If your looking for the original Robocop go watch that but if your looking for a new take on the story that stands on its own this film is for you even if your a new or old fan.

Taking away the special effects, which are good, the movie focuses on what defines a man. Is it his body or his mind? If you take away everything that makes up a person but his heart and mind, is he still the same?

The film was good but nowhere near as great as the original. It stands on some of it's own merits and brings fresh ideas to the story. Worthy remake that doesn't try to hard to to remind the viewer of the original.

A little different from the old robocop moive but still a good movie it was more focused on the family of alex murphy which made it in my eyes a better movie would gave it a 5 but wasnt as gun ho as the 1st robocop

I'm a fan of RoboCop and was really worried about a remake when I heard about it. This updated movie was pretty good as far as remakes goes. I'm actually excited to see what they do for the next installment.

I thought for a remake they did pretty good they did a good job plugging in small things from the original film like saying I'd buy that for a dollar and showing an image of the original robocop as a blue print

I know a lot of people out there can't get past the original but this one is really good. There are some things that this movie didn't do that the original was known for however this was still a good movie.

Comparing to the old version of Robocop I would give this movie a 3 out of 5 star rating. The storyline was a bit confusing to me but the CG sequences in the movie looked great. Great actors & actresses in it.

We needed a quick movie to test a couple of surround sound zones in a smart home...and this did the trick! Besides the fact that I got to add the Ultraviolet to my own collection! And not a bad movie either...

The quality is good, the story lacking and the acting is OK, not great. I wish they would have stuck closer to the original version, not necessarily with the goofy ads and news stories, but with the story.

This a updated version! The story is still the same. The special effects are updated too. If you like the original your enjoy the remake. If you have not seen the original you in for a great scifi movie!
