Not badly done overall, considering a lot of remakes are being done nowadays. Wait for a good sale to buy.

The film lacked the amazing essence of the original but none the less it was super epic and entertaining to watch.

i was a bit skeptical when I first saw the previews and was pleasantly surprised when we watched it. The story line has been updated and as a great bonus, most of the designs were based on the originals. Aside from that i cannot tell more without screaming "SPOILER ALERT!" across the review everywhere.

Doesn't stack up against the original, but a thoughtful reimagining that didn't get its due. Worth a look.
