Good movie from back when I was growing up. Recommended

Robot Jox, one of the few b-list movies that made it onto the big screen. This was the biggest "low budget" movie at the time and it shows. The plot takes place an unspecified number of years after a devastating world war. The world is divided into territories and instead of thousands of troops from all armies fight and dying, the battles are now fought by gladiator style fights in giant robots. There is no CG work here, everything is purely practical effects and stop motion work, some of the best for its time. The movie did suffer from some setbacks as the producer and director wanted two completely different things, but ultimately we ended up with what we have now, slightly less serious with lots of action. If you're any fan of robot movies, this is the one to have.

This movie is a hidden gem and it's great to have on BluRay. Transfer is about as good as you're gonna get for a movie that isn't going to go through a rigorous 4K restoration.

Great 80's fun! If you are a fan of Pacific Rim check this out. Of course, it has that 80's cheese but that's part of the charm.

This movie considered a B movie by most but it is a great movie not to be missed. Great stories and great sci-fi action.

A nice transfer for this all but forgotten gem. Good film.

this is a great old movie. even my 8 year old enjoyed it and watched it 2 times in a row
