Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of anime but its the fact that this DVD collection was somewhat of a failure. Its nice to have the Macross series in the dvd collection but I was confused and a little disturbed about the other series included. Don't get me wrong the series was descent but the other series didn't make sense because of different times and different characters. First off I was confused about the name Robotech. When in fact it was the macross series not the robotech series. Some of the acting was alright but things were changed from its original content. This made the story somewhat different and horrible. Extras. There were some interesting extras but sometimes the disc wouldn't work and the extras were hard to see not to mention there wasn't a lot of extras such as how the Macross/robotech series was created. Don't get me wrong, it was a descent dvd but I wouldnt want a fan or a person whose starting to get into anime watch this. It is a classic if you watch the original series of Macross but find another dvd not this collection to screw up the story. Also the price of this collection was over priced. Even though there are 4 series in the collection none of it collides or makes sense because there different characters and settings.

it was a great saga of many characters involved in a epic struggel of survival and ongoing personal conflict between all the main and sub-characters.For an older film it was beautifully crafted and the remastered version really enhanced the magnificence of the animation quality of the era.

Its nice that all the episodes for robotech are included in this set-so you don't have to look for any more. Great price, I could see this selling at $200 but its only $80 lots of hours of interesting art and storyline. Robotech is one of the most original animations and well done

This DVD has fantastic picture quality and sound. It is digitaly remastered and dubbed for sound quality. This makes this very entertaing show even better. they have a lot of dvd extras too!!

I have enjoyed watching the Robotech series in this collection. It is the most complete collection of the series to date. The picture and sound quality are superb. The only thing I miss from this is not having the original japanese voice overs.

You get all the episodes and series for a very cheap price. This is my favorite series. its a great buy. The plot is great in all 3 series. It takes you to another fantasy of what could be. Great Series!!

It was great to watch all the episodes, remastered with great audio quality. One of the greatest sagas of all time, this is definitely a must own for all robotech fans.

Simple put the best 75 bucks I've spent this year.

I was super excited to purchase the remastered version of a childhood favorite and share it with my kids and what did we find to surprise their little eyes? Naked cartoons! This is definitely not the tv version. On the main menu there is a cartoon girl taking a shower and my 8-year old son and his friends got to see it. I don't appreciate the surprise. There is nothing on the box to warn of this and it totally ruined my experience of a good wholesome story. I loved Robotech as a kid and I didn't even get to watch this remastered version because they ruined it with cartoon nudity.

the plot is horrible most likely do to how old the series is. the quality of the series is bad. and for such an old series it cost to much.
