Lightweight, easy to use mouse. A++ Gaming Mouse

Tldr: Quality, lightweight wireless mouse that has stellar battery life per charge. Lightweight, 19,000 DPI optical sensor, and non-existent latency make for an excellent gaming experience. The mouse itself is also RGB, so if that is your thing, you cannot go wrong with this mouse. It’s easy to tell that Roccat took their time designing this mouse. It’s lightweight, which is perfect for long gaming sessions (gamers know the feeling of your shoulder hurting………it’s your mouse weight!). Although I have not had to charge the mouse yet (around 20 hours of TT Wonderland), it is nice to be able to grab 5 hours of gaming with only 10 minutes of charging. I will update this review once I have to charge. As far as the glide, I am having no issues. Tracking is smooth and latency is nonexistent. Overall, I am enjoying the Burst Pro Air and have no reservations with recommending this gaming mouse. The design and sheer weight (or lack there of) makes this a joy to play with. I am a sucker for RGB, so I was pleased to see this mouse had it. Well done, Roccat

Super lightweight, great battery life, overall comfortable design, not too radical with angles and curves. RGB lighting with the honeycomb hollowed out design is a nice touch. Does very well for both casual use and gaming sessions, no noticeable lag or accuracy issues. Pairs up nicely with a Roccat Vulcan 87-key mechanical RGB board and Elo 7.1 Air headset! Wonderful value for the price, thanks again Roccat.

    This Mouse is Just Right

I started using another brand of gaming mouse and really enjoyed the lightweight and precision of that one, but I wanted something that offered a DPI switch on top, and some RGB lighting. This is that Goldilocks mouse for me. Mouse is insanely lightweight and easy to handle for extended gaming sessions. It’s lightweight and glide pads on the bottom of the mouse really make it a breeze to slide around in frantic and precision situations. I have it connected with the 2.4GHz dongle, but also tried the Bluetooth features and both offered strong fast response. All the buttons and mouse wheel offer great response, not too mushy or stiff. The battery seems to last forever, I have been using it for a few days now and battery level seems to barely drop. The great braided USB-C cable seems to charge it up really quick as well. The icing on all this amazing performance and comfort was the DPI switch on the top of the mouse just below the scroll wheel. It’s easy to get to, the previous mouse I used had this switch on the bottom of the mouse. Finally, the mouse seems to be covered in RGB on the top. I use a Roccat Magma keyboard and I love how the light seems to flow between the keyboard and mouse. This really completed my setup and is a joy to use for hours on end. This is an easy recommendation to anyone looking for a great, lightweight, gaming mouse.

    Great Customizable Gaming Mouse

I have owned many wireless mice since I am not a fan of the trackpad on my laptop. This is especially true when I play games and require responsive movements. I noticed this mouse is much lighter than mice I normally use. This seems to prevent me from accidently knocking it off my recliner arm when I get up. It is worth mentioning that you must download ROCCAT swarm software to take full advantage of all the capabilities and customizations of this mouse. I like how many options for color customizing there is since I own a laptop which has similar functions. The software can be downloaded here: https://support.roccat.com/s/downloads?language=en_US The only issue I had with this mouse was updating the firmware. You must attach both the dongle and the mouse directly to the computer at the same time for the update to occur. Pros Lightweight Bluetooth or dongle connection Customizable with downloaded software Cons To update firmware, you need two standard USB ports I would definitely recommend this mouse. It has just enough buttons and is responsive enough to be useful in gaming.

    Could be better

This mouse had quite a bit of potential. For a mid-level gaming mouse I was hoping that it would exceed my expectations. But sadly it did not. I want to make it clear that I am not a gaming expert and like to play light gaming, mostly third person shooters. Let's start off with the positives though. The lighting feature is quite nice on this mouse. The size and feel of the mouse itself was ok, fit my medium size hands well and the buttons had a nice tactile click to them. I especially like the feel of the scroll button. The movement on the mouse was responsive enough and I didn't notice any real lag. I was told by my hardcore gaming children that the mouse was heavier than what they use, and that was because they don't like to use wireless mouse. I personally couldn't tell the difference much, but they were adamant that this made a huge difference. The reason I gave this mouse 3 stars is that the mouse would randomly disconnect from my computer. I tried trouble shooting with other different bluetooth devices and had no problems with any of it. Also, battery drainage was faster than some of my other, older mouse. I'm pretty sure I might have just gotten a lemon. So, I had to stop using this one and go back to my old mouse. Other than those 2 issues, it was an ok mouse.

My husband and I saw this one on YouTube and he immediately wanted to try it. This offer was unbeatable and it came in 2 days. It has been a year, and he still uses it to this day - no complaints, ever. He plugs it in when he needs to charge it while still using it, but the battery life is amazing, so it is used mostly unplugged. The weight is exactly what he needs, as a gamer, and this mouse glides smooth as butter. And let me confirm, the rgb lights are PRETTY.

This is a really nice mouse that is definitely going to turn some heads with the really nice RGB and overall white look. Setting it up entailed installing ROCCAT swarm, updating the firmware and then after a short charging session it was on to using the mouse. My first thing to do was to get it charged, then see what the RGB lighting was able to do. There are at least 3 or 4 different areas that light up on this mouse and they are not small areas, but rather large swaths of the mouse. The reason for an imperfect 5 stars is that I did deduct a star for the battery life, which is not too great the way I had set it up (max brightness) and so that is why it is not 5 stars. Using the mouse in games is great, no lag or stuttering, it's very reliable and does very well. I have used it for about a week or more with heavy game use, including titles such as F1 2022, Diablo Immortal, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc and not once did I ever notice the mouse in regards to a fail in a game caused me to lament the mouse. The mouse is an excellent gaming mouse. Lastly, the aesthetics of this thing are simply off the charts, it's especially bold to have the white mouse look but then you amp it up with the lighting and it just looks totally amazing. I have to give Roccat credit for this one, it's just a fantastic mouse. I have tweaked my battery life a bit by turning down the brightness and I think this mouse is a real keeper. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Awesome upgrade to my wired Roccat Burst Pro!

The Roccat Burst Pro Air is an awesome upgrade to the Roccat Burst Pro. Having the same form factor and feature set, one cannot really discern the difference between the two models. Both can be controlled by Roccat Swarm app which can control settings such as vertical scroll speed, ponter speed, dpi settings, button assignments and illumination to name a few. Nothing new there really. But what levels up the Roccat Burst Pro Air is it connectivity options. First, it has a USB-C power cable to charge the muse. But do note while charging you can use this as a regular wired mouse. Once charged, the mouse can be connected to your PC via the included USB dongle or via Bluetooth giving you three options to connect. Also, each charge is rated at 100 hours. And though no latency comparisons have been made comparing the three connectivity options, it would be safe to that its wireless connectivity is up to gaming standards. But still if you feel that this isn’t so, you still have a wire option. For gamers, the basic gaming features are nothing new. But for connectivity, it is as versatile as it gets. I’d highly recommend this mouse.

This is a cool looking mouse to begin with. The honeycomb looking lights are slick and the wheel also lights up. You can use this mouse wired with the included USB cable, USB dongle or via Bluetooth. I opted to use the dongle as I feel it gives a little better reliability than Bluetooth. There are several configuration options and the 2 side buttons on the left can be set to your preference. Downloading the SWARM allows you to go in and do a lot of cool tweaks and changes to the mouse functions and even the lights on the mouse. It really is a great mouse for those who want to tweak the settings and sensitivity for gaming. The mouse is also rechargeable with the included USB-C cable, so no worry about batteries. The mouse itself is kind of lacking in form. It's mainly just a standard design like you would find in a basic office mouse. The mouse is mid sized, so if you are accustomed to a larger, more curved and taller designed mouse, then this one might feel a little cheap. The scrolling wheel and the buttons do have a bit of a cheap feel to them, not of a premium feel. So overall this is a very solid mouse that has plenty of setting options, just not a premium feel. I like it, but those who are used to a high performance gaming mouse might be a little disappointed.

I own other Roccat computer gaming accessories. I've come to appreciate the brand based on its own quality, but also when in comparison to other brands of gaming peripherals I've used. You'll want to install the Roccat gaming software from their website, onto your PC. With it you can customize the RGB lighting effects and assign key actions, rather than simply using the default settings. When it comes to appearance and features, this Burst Pro Air is visually attractive. The detachable 'Phantom Flex' USB-C rapid charging cable is really really nice; a good long length, and flexible yet strong. The two ultra-smooth "glides" on the bottom literally make moving the mouse around my mousepad, feel like the mouse is skating on ice. On both sides, where your hand holds the mouse, is this unusual almost geometric dotted pattern, which is kinda artsy but mainly useful for maintaining a secure grip on the mouse. There's also this brushed texture on the top mid-section where the scroll wheel and DPI button are located. That little 'something extra' adds to the overall "fancier" look of this Roccat gaming mouse. And when the RGB lights are active, glowing beneath the transluscent surface, is this wonderful honeycomb design. The mouse is lightweight, and comfortable to hold onto; not too big or too small. The subtle 'clicky-clacky' sound of the switches is also nice; button presses are smooth and responsive for in-gameplay accuracy. As with my other Roccat gaming accessories, this Burst Pro Air performs as expected.

This is a nice mid-range gaming mouse. Won’t break the bank, but it will still give you a lot of great features that more expensive mice may have. Out of the box the mouse has a good feel to it. I have pretty large hands and the mouse fit my hand perfectly. It is nice and lightweight and effortlessly glides along the mousepad. There is little to no drag making it great for gaming. The buttons also have a very good click to them. You can literally press anywhere on the button and it will click down. The buttons are pretty bog, so its good in the heat of a game to not have to have your finger in the perfect place to activate the buttons. It also has a DPI switch right behind the scroll wheel so that you can easily change DPI settings on the fly. I was worried that I might accidentally press it due to its location, but I have used it for a while now and haven’t once accidentally activated it. You can connect this mouse via Bluetooth, by connecting with the included USB dongle, or you can use the included USBC cable as well. I will also note that the USB cable is the cloth like kind that will decrease drag or resistance when moving around the mouse when gaming. I found the mouse to be very responsive and easy to use. This is my daily mouse now that I not only use for gaming, but I also use it for surfing the web and things like that. Its very versatile. There is also software you can download to customize the lighting on your mouse. You can have multiple presets with different colors that you can assign to different buttons, or the entire mouse. It is very customizable and will satisfy even the most hardcore gamer! I’m not in love with the honeycomb lighting pattern on the back of the mouse, but I guess that’s a personal preference. Other than that, its definitely worth checking out if you’re in the market for a new mouse!

What I like: The build seems high quality. I was a little put off initially by the frosted plastic because it looks very much like lower quality stuff, but it feels good to the touch and gives just enough grip. The sides of the mouse feature a tactile hex pattern that also helps with grip without being overdone. The mouse is probably the lightest one I've ever used and the sleds are smooth, so it feels nice to use. Maxing out the DPI I'm able to track from one corner of my 3440x1440 monitor to the opposite one with about an inch of physical movement, so if you've got a high resolution screen and/or a small mousing area, it works fantastic. Battery life seems decent, with a charge lasting several days of usage. Buttons feel nice to use and the scroll wheel is accurate and doesn't seem to "slip" or miss movement. Wireless connection seems stable for the most part using the included dongle. I tend to prefer this type of symmetrical mouse shape over others. The wireless dongle tucks into the base of the mouse when not in use, so if you need to use while charging, there's a convenient space to put it. USB-C charging is always good to see and the included white-sleeved USB-A to USB-C cable is nice. What I don't: Range of the mouse seems a little iffy. If the receiver's more than about 18 inches the mouse movement starts to get a bit stuttery, and beyond 3 ft it loses connection with the dongle entirely. My laptop setup puts the mouse dongle about two feet from my mousing surface and it's functionally unusable at that distance for anything other than web browsing. Overall, I like the way the mouse looks and feels, and it's a solid performer. The wireless range isn't great, but if you're not expecting to use it 2+ feet away from the dongle, it's a non-issue.

The mouse is pretty cool with the lights. It comes with USB cable to charge and connectly to the computer. Also it comes with wireless Bluetooth USB for computers that do have Bluetooth capabilities. The last option is that you can connect it with Bluetooth if your computer already has Bluetooth. Roccat thought of everything for this mouse because anyone can use it. Old and new computers are all welcome.

Very lightweight mouse that glides over even the cheapest mousepad. I like the fact that your RGB settings save onboard the mouse itself along with the profile instead of having to keep the software open unllike some other mice companies. With the white color the mouse has a nice underglow. Battery life seems very good even with max lighting. Bluetooth maintains a solid connection and pairs fast.
