-Great quality detachable mic -Nice Quality Build -Swivel ears and self adjusting headband to fit many different head sizes - Sound quality : Sounds are nice , Good Highs and Lows , Mids are a bit lacking , and the volume may sound a bit low (Maybe because its this set and i also listen to loud headphones 24/7) But its a nice sounding set of 50mm Drivers (Same ones used in the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 headphones ) -Fit : Its a snug fit , the glasses friendly feature works well ! it wont make your glasses squeeze into your head, Comfortable headband and ear cushions (These are over ear headphones) -Cables are lengthy enough for routing in a pc desk setup -Works well with multiple platforms In conclusion these headphones are worth the price , Some downs but they are really good ! Im loving the build quality and So far through Gaming , Zoom calls , Discord Voice Chats , Spotify ... And much more - Its worth the buy !

I initially purchased for myself. When my fiance broke his headset; he used mine and loved them so we bought another set for him. I purchased these because they were reccamended for a small head. Your headset sliding off your head while gaming is a no go and this headset solved that problem handily.

Not going to lie, bought this on sale and I was very skeptical of the quality.. but I can now say, these are an amazing pair of headphones. The audio quality is great, very good for playing games and hearing enemy steps and such, but also has a great audio for music. The strap is metal and feels premium and light, and after hours of wearing them, my head didn’t hurt a bit. I recommend this pair of headphones, for the price it was super worth it.

One could be forgiven for overlooking the Elo X. At first glance there's not much to make it stand apart from any of a hundred other gaming headsets you might find on the market. There aren't any fancy RGB effects, wireless support, mic pass through, or any of a hundred other gimmicks that have been used to make headsets stand out from the competition. The moment you actually put it on and start playing sound through it though, you'll realize that this is far from another disposable budget headset. The first thing you'll notice is that you don't need to do anything to adjust the headset to fit your head. The two stiff metal hoops stretching over your head, which would usually slide up and down into the frame supporting the ear cups, are fixed in place. Instead the padded headband beneath them will stretch to fit your particular noggin, then sit obediently in place while you play. At first I thought this might be a nuisance, that I'd be able to feel the headband trying to pull back down on my head over prolonged use, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I barely noticed it. Special mention also should go to the contouring done on the thick memory foam pads on each ear cup, designed to reduce the pressure they put on the frames of any glasses you might be wearing. I'm not going to say this was ever a huge issue for me, but it's definitely one of those small little touches that you appreciate once you've got it. As comfortable as the headset is though, that's not really what I'd consider to be the primary selling point for this thing. That would be the audio quality, which completely blew away my expectations. The 50mm drivers in this headset produce absolutely fantastic sound, easily the match of headsets that list for four times as much. I tested it out with game audio, music, netflix, and random Vlogs on YouTube and in each case the sound was clear, rich, and thoroughly engrossing. The noise cancelling boom mic included was also thoroughly impressive. While it's admittedly not quite up to the level of what you'd want for content creation or regular streaming it delivered what I'd describe as above average performance in Discord, as well as offering pretty decent dictation performance. There are admittedly a few areas for improvement. There's no built in support for USB audio or an adapter to start, so you're going to need a conventional headphone/mic jack for whatever you plan to use it for. I also found the built in volume and mic mute controls on the back of the left ear to be a bit inconveniently placed, though admittedly I don't think it would be a problem if my hair were as short as it was in the time before the pandemic cut off access to barbers. And the permanently fixed cable is a little on the short side (though the included splitter to let you use two pole connectors does address this by adding on a few inches.) For this quality of audio at this price though, I'd say these minor inconveniences are worth putting up with.

Almost 5 stars.... We will get to that later. Really nice sound. Spatial sound is really good. Highs, mid range is good. Bass is decent. Simple set up. Plus and play. Comes with splitter for mic and headphones if your PC needs it. I used this running on PC Microsoft 10 and played Rainbow 6 Tom Clancy... Nice sound. Fit is superb. Very comfortable. Wore all day and no fatigue or pressure points. One of hung nice is the ear piece swivels to allow to hold up like a DJ if need be. Microphone is nice and clear easy to plug and play.. Comes with everything you need to use and setup. Volume control and mic mute use is super easy. So the only ding I had on this was that I wished it had a pass through sound feature Soni can hear what is going on around me as well. Other than that I would recommend this. Nice job Roccat. Inly

    BUDGET FRIENDLY ZOMBIE BLASTING HEADSET

REVIEW: ROCCAT ELO X WIRED PC GAMING HEADSET CROSS-PLATFORM STEREO GAMING HEADSET WITH 50MM DRIVER Best Buy Tech Insider Network BUDGET FRIENDLY ZOMBIE BLASTING HEADSET Please know starting out I am a total snob with audio gear and I only want the best sounding headset. This is a very good set of headphones / headset with lots going for it, especially the price. These are made by Turtle Beach (either you love them or hate them). This headset looks good, sounds good, and most importantly feels good. I have slightly larger head, not a giant, but I also wear glasses. My best sounding headset squeezes my head so hard I can hardly wear it for more than an hour even without glasses. For gaming, especially, you can wear these for a long time. They are very lightweight. The mic is good (not perfect). I really like that you can detach the mic when not in use. The one feature I miss is MIC pass through, so I can hear myself talk. On the other hand, the headphones really lock in sound, so well you can’t hear yourself talk. On my gaming console systems (xbox and ps4) I can mix the sound through the console so it is not a showstopper. I just like it better when the headset does it on its own (as do others by Turtle Beach that I own). Some personal preferences. I prefer the mute / volume on the cord instead the headset (this is on the headset). I like a little cleaner sound through the overall tonal range. If you are just blowing up zombies, don’t worry about it. My point is you probably won’t be using these for listening to classical music. FAVORITE FEATURES - Very lightweight about half the weight of more expensive models - Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time - Glasses Friendly - Removable Mic - Included “mixer” cord to combine PC Audio Out and MIC in. THOUGH, I wish it had a USB Dongle for PC’s. - Good overall quality build OVERALL RECOMMENDATION If you are into Budget friendly Zombie Blasting, this if for you. For mixed use high quality Audio, you need to step up to something higher end. Again, for the price you won’t find anything better or more comfortable. This is a good balance of price and performance. My main use will be for my stand alone arcade box for when I’m zapping aliens without disturbing the rest of the house. I do recommend these.

If you know anything about ROCCAT, this isn't going to surprise you after reading this. If you know anything about Turtle Beach, this is going to be pleasing to the eyes to read this. Basically, Turtle Beach hooked up with ROCCAT and brought out a pair of the best wired gaming headsets I have ever had the privilege of owning at this price range(That's saying a lot). I've had my share headsets over the past couple years and I can honestly say, They keep getting better. These can be used for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox One X and even Nintendo Switch. Heck! If you're still fortunate enough to still own a phone with a 3.5 mm jack, you may just be looking at your next pair music bumping headphones. The design is simple at best, but it works because it's going for functional over fashion. I personally love the way they look, but opinions vary. The cord is long enough for your to comfortably use your Xbox One X controller or your Nintendo Switch . and if you are playing on a PC RIG the requires that dual connection for sound and mic, they've got you covered with a 4 ft splitter cable. The memory foam style leatherette cups are really comfy even if you wear glasses, like I do. I feel like I could wear these for days without discomfort. This mic sounds great and the volume and mute control are simple to operate from the left ear. No unnecessary bells and/or whistles here. You don't need any. In my opinion. These are the wired headphones that need to be under the Christmas tree for that special gamer in your life. At the very least, if you've got a serious gamer that need the best Hi-end head gear, these would do as awesome backups. Yup! I'm definitely recommending these to everyone.

These have very good sound quality. I put them through their paces with various games, a couple movie scenes, and some youtube "headphone" testing videos. If you close your eyes you can really feel the sound move all around you and their high/low range was very good. I found them to be a bit warm on my ears after a while, a bit bulky, and a little snug for my head. (Maybe I have a big head?) That said it does keep them in place if you move around a lot. I like that the mic is easy to remove if just using for listening and it is very flexible to position it exactly where you want it to get crisp clean mic audio. There’s volume and mute on the back of the left ear cup. They are both tactile and easy to get used to after you’ve worn them a bit. Since they are wired - no batteries or recharging needed. The main cord is for plugging directly into a game controller and if you want to use with a PC then you have to add the long cord. Personally I prefer a USB connection for pc headphones – also note that the long pc cord has a splitter ends for separate mic and audio in/outputs. If you are using a laptop that only has 1 dual input/output connector, the long cable will not work. Overall a good sounding gaming specific headset for the cost.

Purchased for my son. He was skeptical about the headset compaired to the last pair. The headset is super comfortable, light weight and ear pieces are nice and comfortable. Sound is really good for gaming, bass is underwhelming for music per my sound he likes a lot of bass which would be too much for a lot of people

I had the Turtle Beach Recon 50P's for about 2 years now, they were decent. One day the microphone refused to be detected by the headset itself, rendering it useless. So, on the first week of December, I stopped by my local CVS Pharmacy to buy some Best Buy gift cards and started hunting for a replacement. I came across the headset: the ROCCAT Elo X. I read the reviews, with all of them saying the audio for both the microphone and speakers is crisp, and that's what got me invested in it. I ordered it, and it was expected to come on a Tuesday, but I guess USPS was probably working at a faster pace, cause it came a day early on Monday. I've been using it for over a week now, and I can say that I made a good financial choice.

For the price it’s not too bad! It fits with glasses, it’s comfortable over the ears for long hours of wear, and the detachable microphone is definitely something that I enjoy. The buttons on the headphones itself come in handy and are easily accessible as well. The only downside to this is that the volume is definitely lacking. I’d wish there was more bass in the lows, but it’s not exactly something I’d say is terrible. If you’re looking for audio more than anything, I wouldn’t recommend them. But for absolutely ANYTHING ELSE, I would highly recommend them!

The Roccat headphones sound decent and are easy to wear for long periods of time. The main issue I have with them is the iCUE software. I use Apple systems. The company has software that is Mac palatable, at least that is what they say. I purchased these cans to use with my MacBook Pro (2019 to stay with the Intel based system) I am running Catalina. The system recognizes the head phones at the OS level, but the software does not see them attached. So I loaded the software up on my iMac 2012 running High Sierra with the same results. OS sees them but the software does not, so 2 completely different Systems/OS's/Hardware and the software does not work..... Oh you can update the firmware on the phones...... but wait, you need the software to that...... Contacted Corsair who's response was to use a Windows system to do the update..... Really. So I have a nice set of headphones that I cannot take advantage of the robust software (according to the reviews) because Corsair cannot be bothered to keep their software up to date and functional. End result, Windows folks will be all set, but Mac folks are out of luck, so don't bother to pay the extra cost if you are looking to use the software. If Corsair gets back to me I will update this review... though after 3 weeks no-one is holding their breath.
